It is true that way back then everything is almost fine until lots of people turn scammers and running peoples money. The space is saturated with poor quality projects and scams. That is one of the reasons it's hard to find great projects thesedays.
Looking for good project in ICO world is like looking for needle in a haystack. It is a difficult thing to do unless you have the right tools to look for them.

In this point, i really agree with you. seeing the current situation (scam everywhere) makes investors think again about investing in a project (even though the project is good and very promising). People are still looking for a good project to invest. If anyone has a proper ICO project plan and they are able to convince the people that their investment will not go into waste, people will still invest in them. People always needs to invest in something which can provide them passive income. You can see the example of IEO. As soon as people realize the benefit of ieo, they started investing in them.
