People have different views on almost everything, and people who do not trust crypto currency because they do not understand about crypto currency. They don't even touch it that's why they treat it as a stupid thing.
I don't know about the situation in other countries, but here in India the mainstream media is painting Bitcoin as a currency of tax evaders, money launderers, drug dealers, criminals and pedophiles. Try to explain bitcoin to them differently, not as they know it. Perhaps they will see information from a different angle and change their opinion about bitcoin.
