Yes it was, but still the security is all that matter. Your asset on banks is more safer and secure than the cryptocurrency market place. Banks can establish protections that are comprehensive and strong.

I think people choose crypto because of its nature being decentralized, community driven and one that can open global trade. There will be a lot of projects that will come and go until there is something so simple that it makes sense for people to use on a day to day basis. There will also be a lot of conversation around what true indpendent money means. I was reading a really good article about the topic of independent money is and it made me realize why people choose crypto all together.

I don't agree with you. Bitcoin in itself did not produce money. The money in crypto is real money that was used to buy it to become money as we see today. Only a few of the people in crypto are in to earn. The majority invested because of the tech behind crypto. Some think crypto is a better way to store your money than the bank so we should not be thinking about the earning part always.
Even from what I know, since real money is used in crypto, whenever you are gaining, someone's is losing. That is the cycle in crypto.

I guess people choose cryptocurrency because they want to "Get Rich Fast" because saw many people who success in cryptocurrency world's. so, they are follow to join and hope that they can also get rich. And secondly, for "Technology", they are sure that blockchain technology will leading the world in the near future, so they are trying to investment from now and hope their prediction will be come true soon. Third, "Easy to Join", I guess this is one I like about cryptocurrency, yes we can join to invest or trading with easy without hassle, without large funds, wherever you are, just need Internet connection. IMO
