If there is someone that legalized it, people will gamble, if it's not being tolerated in the society I think that will be lessen. To say why people still gamble even though the society doesn't accept it is like saying "why do people still smoke even if it kills them later on". People won't stop unless that habit of them gives a lesson a thing or two. There's no mystery behind, it's just people want to take a risk if they could profit out of it, it's the psychology behind it.

win or fun? both can be presented in gambling .
I myself wanted to have fun but I also wanted to have winning in case there is a given luck in my side .
but suddenly there is a lot of losses but I tried to minimize my losing streak and standing the table once there is no luck coming soon.
means one thing I can control myself from losing and that is the attitude we must use when we are in gambling.

Lol people say there's a lot of things that other people shouldn't do.  Just look at one religion to the next, most saying one thing is okay and the other saying it is not.  Who's to say which is right?  I'm more of a centrist progressive and I believe in lesser government and freed will.  Now of course there needs to be rules and regulations, just like with say gun control, I do believe gambling laws need to be strict, but I sure don't agree that gambling is "bad".

On the time that you do consider yourself on having that leisure time then expect that you would really be paying up for the entertainment or enjoyment that you would gain through gambling.This is why it would

really be that realistic that you should really be having that kind of treatment.The wrong thing about on most people is that they are expecting that much for them to mind and believe that they would really be getting rich by doing gambling on which its never been that right on having that impression because that would really be creating that desperation which it shouldnt really be that way specially when dealing
with gambling. Its for entertainment but there are people who cant really just realize such thing and do really make things to overextent or something that shouldnt really be done in the first place.

Gambling is a leisure activity and an entertainment activity. You need to spend money to enjoy this activity, it's not for free. But think of it as going out with your friends, going on a trip, having a dinner on a VIP restaurant.. To enjoumy any of these activities you need to spend some money. The same things applies to gambling.
The only problem here is that gambling is an addictive activity, so you don't know when you are spending more than what you are supposed to.

Leading to a big Jackpot win is something they want and hope that they can win but it's all difficult but impossible for many people to get it, and they still depend on luck to realize their wealth from the Jackpot.

For me it depends on how we interpret it, I myself am more into fun not for the sake of realizing to get big wins.

Yes you have the point mate in physical casino then most of casino facilitators didn't allowed minors or under age to play with them because they have the rules and regulations. But in online casino which is pretty known at this time, we won't blame why under age can still involve in gambling. Gambling cannot be restricted to the people, it is we the people that will learb how to refrain ourselves from gambling in other to avoid been shamed, this same thing applies to the children we are bringing up, how early do we afford to exposed them to an open circular gambling environment, how well do we train them, how much have we invested on the underaged to know what's best for him at a particular time and be focused in life, if we sue the first gambling platform in our locality how about others around the world, isn't it better to control our individuals wards than what is beyond being moderated.

Gambling is for fun, not a crime. Which parents will beat their child for just gambling (children are not drum and it's only drum that can be beaten)? It's not right. Anyhow, if someone is gambling responsibly in the city, community, or village that you describe, then there will be no one to trouble them. But it's only when they are doing it wrong that fingers will begin to point at them. Like those that form the habit of smoking, stealing, doing drugs, and harassing others on the street, both ladies and kids all in the name of gambling.

When a gambler is gambling in a cool and peaceful manner (by the way, is gambling even peaceful?) in a way that it doesn't hurt the lifestyle and feelings of other people around you or in the society, that means gambling is not bad. Whoever is having that feeling that gambling is bad might have experienced something that gave them such a wrong impression. Some people don't even have any experience that makes them think badly of gambling; they are only living on the bad information they have heard from others in the past and using it to judge the present. But whichever parent sees that their children are making a mistake (gambling wrongly), they should give them the right to counseling instead of beating them.

I read a story one time where a guy sold almost half of his dad's property just to gamble, and the guy was below the age of 25, a very young guy. That can be an example of the bad habit gambling in the life of some kids.

Yes, you are right, we all know that the convenience of increasingly sophisticated technology today allows people to play gambling anywhere using their cellphone browser, where I live, I see lots of underage children also playing gambling, most of them try the game to find money and are still too naive to think that gambling is a great source of income, but sadly they are wrong to think that way. because gambling can kill their future.

Many underage children who gamble cannot control their emotions so they easily become addicts, moreover they are still school children, of course it will ruin their future and even disrupt education in their schools if they like to play gambling in their youth. everything returns to its environment, of course I stay away from my sister associating with children like that. 

The rate of underage gambling have increase lately and I don't know why that os happening at this stage and time,  should we blame that on the availability of the online casino,  because most of the underaged can not visit physical casinos,  but can easily gamble online using their smartphone without restriction and this have lead to devastating result in the level of young addictions and other gambling vices that can effect the total well being of the individuals involved in under age gambling.

What I can understand from your post is that you are referring to underage gamblers only since you always mention 'parents.
If your main idea is about underage gamblers only, yes it is not good at all and should be avoided.
Again, it is normal if parents tell their children like that because all parents want the best for their children.


Here is the main question, is this question still for underage gamblers only or is it applied in general?
If it is in general, people do gambling because of few different reasons but without a doubt money is the main reason.

Know casino would allow underaged people to gamble but do they have the necessary tools available to checkmate if any of there customers are underage or not? This is why KYC casinos can do there job better when it comes to screen those customers that could be underage or not. This last two listed caught my attention because from curiosity, one gets trapped and now wants to get back their money through chasing their losses and then end up being addicted which makes them want to do some incredible things like stealing  and all the rest and no parents would want such for their child.

if the amount you are using is something that you don't badly need meaning excess money then why not? seek for jackpot for who may care? but if that money is for supposedly a food for the table or at least for medicine of other important thing?
then that is stupid to believe that you will win jackpot.

In the world of gambling we can not say that only adults will play or gamble. But nowadays there are many teen ager out there playing gambling without a parent  concent. Like one of my friend he is under age but now he is betting 50 dollar up which is pretty big amoubt here in our country. But for me if I am in hid position then all I can say is that I play for fun.

First of all, If you are underage, you shouldn't gamble. I don't think any casino allows underage players on their platform. But, most online casinos do not ask for a KYC upon sign-up. Underage people might take advantage of it. Gambling is supposed to take as entertainment. Who plays casino games all day? Why would someone gamble all day unless they are addicted? Only gamble when you are financially stable and don't care about losing a few bucks online. If you cannot afford to lose, you shouldn't gamble.

If there is an addicted gambler, he might do anything for his gambling funds including stealing money from their parents. So, the family members should care about other family members.
