Success is measured in various ways and acquiring success through gambling seems to be the most unstable form of success because many people that I have seen that make huge winning through gambling still end up spending a good sum of that winnings in playing major games and losing more and at the end the winning get recycled back into the casino leaving the gamblers with nothing to go home with and most other, even when they're succeeded in investing the money they're won through gambling, they still end up selling those properties just to gamble more because they have the belief that luck will always shine on them which is not always the case.

So gambling can only give temporary success unless the player is strong enough to walk away when he won a good amount that could change his financial direction.

Actually, they do it because it is not impossible. If it was impossible they would not bother to gamble to fix their economical issues and problems.
It is about the tiny possibility, that is what continues to draw people to gamble, the fact it is not impossible for them to suddenly have enough money so they would not need to worry about their economical choices for a long time.

Though, if there is something lottery winners have taught us, is that the new rich is more likely to waste money and devolve back into the previous situation, before hitting a jackpot or drawing the lucky number.

It wasn't really like gambling is a bad thing, It's perfectly fine to gamble you just need to be disciplined and know your limitation on it, know how much you can lose, and when to stop gambling. I didn't gamble anymore but sometimes I bet on NBA games that will win my friends and family just to have the thrill and fun, It wasn't a big amount so it's okay to lose and if I win then I guess I make money anyway.

Gambling in my opinion is for fans and entertainment so its perfectly fine to gamble occasionally since we just wanted sometimes to have fun and get enjoyment, Most parents have a terrible image of gambling just because there are a lot of gambling addicts that destroy their life on gambling but it wasn't actually bad since you just want to have fun right?

We all wanted to have fun sometimes, and probably at the same time win, whereas not actually someone that wants to gamble every day to change their life betting his entire life saving to win.

Agree with that, it was like a fire, if you didn't handle it carefully it could easily ignite and destroy everything, But still, even though it is a potential hazard we still use fire on a lot of things, like cooking, etc. but for the most part we do cook every day it wasn't like playing with fire right? I mean as long as you know how to control it, it wasn't really going to spread and destroy your home, so I don't think putting small wager occasionally would easily start your adrenaline rush to gambling then your going to start to get addicted by just doing that, I mean gambling occasionally but I didn't become a gambling addict because I just know my limitations and boundaries.

Yeah, I guess all gamblers know their boundaries but the problem is they just ignore it even though they know it and let gambling take over and let themselves get eaten by greed and winning.

With having the technology we do have nowadays then it would really be just that so easy to gamble with having that few clicks with our fingertips and with some few swipes. This is why people would really be

having that so easy access to gambling on which no matter on how you do avoid it, theres still lots of chances for you to play once again since you do have your phone with you and if not then you could simply play out on a personal computer on which it would really be easy as pie. If you do need to isolate yourself with these access then its up to you but its really that hard on the time that you do see that gambling addiction within you is really into that high level on which resistance would really be that futile.

Some people are addicted on gambling but there are ones who are really that still into their minds and make out some viable decisions despite on dealing with gambling. As long you do have the control

nice advice and am pretty sure he is on this particular trend one or the other because in this particular world we are living there is always something that eats up the money of man in which he derives joy from and for different people it also varies. For most people its gamble while others might drugs, alcohol, womanising and so many other unnecessary things but its still done anyway just because of the joy derived from it.

Gambling is getting easier day by day due to which youngsters are more and more attracted to it. Because earlier you had to go to a physical gambling hall to gamble but in today's technology era anyone can gamble at home with just a smart phone. Don't be suprise that parents that shout on their children and also beat them are gambler's also, they are just trying to stop their children from gambling because they know that children might not be able to control themselves and they know the risk associated with being addicted to gambling, some children might end up stealing from their parents just because they want to gamble, I believe things like that are why parents don't want their children to gamble.

If I get married and am having children, am also going to discourage them from gambling because I know they might endup getting addicted to gambling, am a gambler but am sure my children won't be able to control themselves the way I can control myself.

Parents can only beat or shout on their children but they can't stop them from gambling, if people gamble responsibly them am sure society won't see gamblers as bad people, but it's just because people end up being addicted to gambling and some addicted gamblers do lot's of illegal things that's why the society always kick against gambling. But people do gamble now and you won't know they are gambler, they do it with the help of their mobile phone and internet connection.

Yes, you are right that every child who grows older is increasingly responsible for spending a budget to finance his life including gambling, that's why parents always give messages to their children to grow up and determine their own lives like playing gambling. Obviously no parents want their children be a gambler unless the decision comes from himself, as long as it's gambling with money he can afford to lose is fine.

I always hide that I am a gambler to my parents and I am sure of course there are many gamblers who don't want their parents to know that he is a gambler, because usually a gambler will look bad in the eyes of his parents unless he has parents who like to gamble too. Grin

It's exactly the same with other bad habits which can and do bring people and their physical health to states of complete and utter ruin. Such as alcohol and smoking. People always tell you to avoid it, yet they still do it.

I guess it's about making a sacrifice to enjoy something that you like. Either way, nothing lasts forever, so why not indulge, as long as you don't overdo it?

But it still really hard not to overdo it for some folks out there, gambling is part of fun alright but the negative effect when you overdo it is really damaging and I don't think I would advice anyone to indulge in gambling but if you feel you want to have with gambling like the way I do now then following a strategic plan for this will help keep you in check to know if actually you are going wild with your gambling habits.

In that you are right, always for anything if we exceed it will always be something bad, in fact it can bring many negative consequences because despair begins, pressure, stress and the desire to recover what was lost, if a player enters with those feelings in the game, well it's lost, there's nothing to do, mistakes can be made all the time and that's not the idea, that's why we as players must have enough calm for the moment to play, I don't think it can be done for the rest something better , self-control is the concept that manifests itself again, it is something difficult but very necessary.

a pretty good point in this case because regardless of anything even though it is said it is dangerous but the fact is it is very difficult and even the dependence on something like that is still very large.
In this case, as you said, because as long as it doesn't interfere and make our condition worse, why not because in the end it just returns to the control that is being carried out, as long as it doesn't make you messy, then why should we be detained entirely because in this case we also need entertainment for ourselves.

Actually, they are right, gamblers do resort to stealing if they are out of money to fill up their hunger for gambling, they look miserable and people around them including their families lose respect for such men.

Those who play draft games from morning till night are not at risk of anything but their time, they have the time to play draft game and it's fine, way better than risking everything you have on pure gambling, if your parent are warning you about gambling it's better to listen to them.

If you have some desire in gambling, you need to fight the addiction part first, there are things that you will get yourself into and you will keep doing it over and over and you won't even realize that you are doing it wrong, gambling is a good example of such things, you need to keep your consciousness alive.

Make sure you aren't overdoing it, and do not develop any type of dream with gambling, those who made the biggest money in gambling happens out of nowhere, they aren't even expecting the insane jackpot.
