When we consider failed ICOs, we can identify many reasons for it's failure. Some ICOs are purposely stopped as scam. For other genuine projects, there are several reasons to fail as follows.

For the same reason companies failed poor teams greed bad idea unrealistic idea a lot of reasons for that good luck with your investment
There are many reasons the the ico has been failed. First they didint reach there target plan. Its either the investors did not like or not interested with there project. Or maybe team has been misunderstanding and it lead to scam ico.
There are many factors why ICO can fail. One of the most important is a weak team. Another big problem is the marketing. If the team has stupid marketing team it will fail. I've seen a lot project with lack of marketing and weak dev team. Also, some ICO has terrible token metrics. It can get the token price to the floor quick.
Well I think is too many ICO with same idea but different in execution, like AI with something and others say AI with something too. Many ICOs only seek for the money and after that they disappeared, weak promotion is the reason too if no good marketing plan your product cannot be known by others.
Now there is lots of ICO and lots of do not have sufficient price range to increase their initiatives, even if they're promising, due to the fact the charge of the crypto foreign money is falling and the variety of traders geared up to threat their money decreases.
If an ICO got a great plan with sincerity and very ambitious, they may or may not attract funding needed! If they fail to meet their planned soft or hard cap, there will be no fund for development.

After the initial success of the ICO projects, it became clear that this system is very profitable. In my opinion, at this stage, there are many ICO projects that are being done to bring together the investments and nothing more. No development plans, etc.

For me there are several factors that needs to be achieved so that the ICO will be successful. Some ICOs failed because they dont meet those factors. It always depends on the ICO team or development team to make the ICO successful. Some ICOs cant promote their project to investors. some reason also is the idea or concept of the project itself is not interesting to the eyes of investors. In short, it is the failure of the team on why the ICO failed.

More interesting if your post attached some examples, some ICO ends due to several factors that are same Quality Team, Project details are less convincing, insufficient Funds, less qualified products. Current competition is very tight while products offered same will be even smaller opportunity to grow for hundreds of projects to catch up. this is just my opinion.
