Waves is a sleeping giant as per my knowledge, it may rise up any time and reach to the moon. This coin may struggle to go up due to several reasons but one thing we need to closely watch is that the price haven't gone down that much and it is always stabilized. Waves may be expecting to have some big players to join and drive the price and may be they would already working on that it seems.
In my opinion, why waves can always be weak? There may be certain causes. The first, Blockchainnya platform is often problematic, so the transaction is hampered. Second, market conditions that are less supportive, difficult to control, many are dumped, so the price plummeted. The third, lack of support from large companies or large investors, so that only a few important people who invest. So maybe that's what causes waves so low.
I don't think that problem is in Waves; currently market is very difficult for alts. BTC is cannibalizing money from alts constantly - alts can strike up with power...

you dont need to expect it to go sky high with just a year or two, just like other coins some are going for highs and lows, but with its roadmap i know that waves will go high in the years that are coming.
if we look at the market, then we will see that the dominance of bitcoin is growing. This means that the money flows from altkoins to bitcoin. When the price of bitcoin will go in the outset and in general the market will be dominated by a positive mood, then the money will return to the altcoyins. Including in the waves. Today's situation on the market, we should not watch why the waves do not grow, but how much the market of altcoyins will lose
I think we should wait a while. until the end of summer the price of the waves can go up to 20 dollars. I think it is a very good project and it is a very good price to invest. Anyone who waits with patience will win 
Read reports of them taking another project's whitepaper and code and presenting them as their own. 
Doesn't reflect well on their ability to innovate if they have to retort to taking another's code, especially w/o openly indicating so at the very start before they were found out, rather than building their own from scratch.

Indeed...Lost my faith in this project because all of this.. Was a great beliver but not anymore..

Yes, the price of this coin is low now. But I'm not sure that it will go up. This project doesn't look well atm. But it has a very worthy idea and a great founder.
The main thing is to be remember is that there is no demand for the tokens, it is meant to be used for the transaction fee on their platfrom but how many people are using the WavesDEX, when compared to other DEX exchanges and even the compared to centralised exchange. Even with the new smart contract platform they want to launch they will still have thesame issue because noone will be using the platform like Ethereum and NEO

I don’t know about why it’s always low but I sold my waves a month ago. I had to sell because I need it. and also I am not that much patient because I already wait too long for this coin. I might be regret in the future but i couldnt wait any longer. But it is really good project I know that. If I earn some from bounties I can buy back I don’t think it will rise near future.

Do not panic but be patient, potential waves and a good altcoin for the long term, the waves will definitely improve their value, it's just a matter of time.
May be it was sort of over hyped or too much buzz was created due to which the people where very excited and this lead to high expectation form the project which did not went though for people as they where expecting it. Might be in coming years the coin may be worthy more than what it is at present.
i understand your frustration, waves has been under the radar for a long time now, i guess its just too many working progresses for the ultimate bullrun.
but you canuse this situation for a great entry, waves dex with new ui will soon be final, smart contracts in simple form start of 2018 and turing complete end of 2018, news gets priced in earlier, so i suggest mid 2018 waves to go full parabolic

Waves is a great project and technology which is expected to be a tough competitor for ethereum. That expectation led people to dissatisfaction about waves but it's not completely wave's fault. Waves was around 15-16 dollars just before crash happend and it was in a uptrend. That crash effected all coins and delayed the development of coins. I am still hopeful about the future of waves and we should give it some more time to reach it's true potential.
waves always have low prices because of demand for investment is also not much cause it costs low and slow movements in value. These coins actually have good prospects just still compete with other coins.
the waves team is not lazy. they may be struggling to be the best of every job they do. they hold regular conferences and meetings.

Many choose waves for a short-term perspective and immediately sell without seeing the movement. But we must understand that they will have quite a lot of interesting solutions this year and should wait, growth will be necessary.
The team not active right now. Nothing come in Q1 2018 so the price down very hard right now
Waves is overrated. There are many decentralized exchange projects. Waves' team is very lazy, they never work. That's why Waves will never be valued.
This is partly true and they could work more productive but it seems that they do not want to change anything and that they are satisfied with everything...Waves need more ICOs on their platform, without it - they will not get good promotion at all. 99% of Waves ICOs were really shit.
