I wonder why people will hold coins for long and sell when the price dipped massively.  What's the essence of holding for long term if you've got no patience? Holding requires patience although if not for long term, always know when to sell.  I can only dump coins cheap when I've lost interest in the project, that's when there is no development update.

Anyway, everyone understands that now is the time when you need to get rid of all the coins that cause distrust.  I am sure that not all altcoins will be needed by someone in the cryptocurrency market, but you need to more carefully review your portfolio.

I too believe the time for alts would come but not as in the way as the last bull run. Alts bull run this time would be selective. There are many dead and dormant coins which would not get any price even if there's a bull. The coming bull would be selective. And only the hodlers of good tokens would benefit.

Actually I do not plan to sell or buy altcoins at the moment. I am a holder since 2018)

It makes no logical sense to sell an altcoin right at the very bottom of a market cycle.  Look I know its very painful to see that altcoin you love some much cause you so much grief, and not to mention checking your altcoin account balance looks like a scene from a horror movie.  But I am here to tell you, to hold strong, keep the faith and ride this altcoin storm as we are about to hit a very sweet spot in the market cycle where altcoins will explode in value.  Almost every altcoin is extremely oversold when comparing it to previous altcoin ATH (all time highs) and not to mention when comparing it to the bitcoin rally of late.

ATTENTION: We are about to enter altcoin season right at the very bottom, there will be some explosive move coming....Please hold firm.

Much love to all altcoin holders (especially those that hold HST decision token)

Stay safe, and see you all at the very top of the next altcoin season.

Peace out Cheesy
Despite what altcoins you hold at the moment , there are many coins which are very poorly looked on the market and better opportunities when they usavisa and go to the fundamental coins!

it doesn't make sense to sell losses but because of the situation, I think that's the reason why someone sells coins at the lowest price. because they think if they survive with coins that don't have price developments, they certainly won't make a profit, so they make other decisions by selling and then buying other coins that are suitable for investment.

People would sell, rather than keeping it in your wallet who has a tendency to die and it will be completely zero value in the future. It's better to recover less amount than nothing.

I think we need to wait  I don't think we need to panic and sell our altcoins at cheap prices. The project needs time to develop and I think the altseason will be coming soon

If the altcoin I have always decreases every day, of course I will sell it and buy again if the price continues to fall. Maybe with that I can get more coin / tokens. That's the kind of strategy that I use if my favorite altcoin has decreased.

As much as it seems good to make do with altcoins, there are certain one that are entirely shit coins. I have some TRDT on Idex which I am still holding in there. This coin has no volume, but all if a sudden I discovered it traded for few hours. After checking and with all attempts to trade mine, it was futile. That then made me to discover it was pumped by some set of people. This is a typical example of what we need to be careful of.

they sell because they believe the price will drop more. The problem is that normally this people have absolutely no clue of where are the red lines and the resistances. For example, a friend of mine told me he was going to sell ETH at 240$ after masive drops of over 30% in last month. I told him not to do it because i was almost sure the resistance of 225$ was strong enough.

At this very moment, the resistance is holding, but i do not know for sure if it will continue to hold it. I see a brutal preassure from bears to crash the market , buy cheap and get profit.

In current conditions , its possible to see ETH another time at 300$. But if you crash the market to 150$ and then buy you can get 100% profit. that's why they do that. They always crash the value lower then what they consider it to be "reasonable".

I do rather hold the coin or token than to sell in such bottom. Like the writer said, it makes no logical sense selling in such low price.  See dumpers especially hunters who sell token for $2 - 5$ and I allay try to understand why they make such decisions

As for me I am not in favour of selling off my coins at low. I am fully aware that cryptocurrency is volatile and price of coins keeps going down and up from time to time. So I have much hope that altcoins will surge in price once they fall. I also believe in some altcoins namely ethereum, binance coin, ripple, EOS, miracle tele and sessia, which will surely increase in price in the coming days.

Once a man, twice a child!
It makes no logical sense to sell an altcoin right at the very bottom of a market cycle.
The truth remains that no one truly knows when a coin is bottomed out. If we all know this then no one will be caught in any crash. What traders do is at best a speculation of where price could go àt any given time. There are no experts in the crypto industry. What we all do is mere guess work. So, it makes logical sense whenever anyone decides to sell off to save what is left of their depleting portfolio.

Its was not a good idea that we sell our altcoins to a bottom price. It looks like we sacrifice our altcoins to a low of price, Must better to think first before doing some moves. Maybe the altcoins we have are a future to increase the price and can make us rich in no time.

Well One can't say for sure the level at which a coin is, if it is truly at the bottom, but then it isn't right to sell a coin so cheap, if you hold good coins, then don't be in a hurry to sell, it will only take a while but will rise back.

Right at the very bottom? No. I wouldn't know if a coin is at "right at the very bottom" though, nobody knows what is the very bottom, that is why people sell at the very bottom. I am not even kidding, look at bitcoin for the past 3 months for example, find the lowest point it has been in the 3 months, technically speaking someone actually sold from those levels. It means yeah if a coin drops a lot and you want to get out because you believe it will go even lower than its normal to want to get out, maybe in bitcoin it doesn't make sense or litecoin/ethereum any big crypto however there are so many shitty coins these days wanting to get out is normal in many of their cases. You can't possibly know what is the very bottom which is why nobody would get out but sometimes they happen to.

Although it is not the best selling at the bottom but if the situation at hand demand that you should sell at the bottom then you should do just that because there are some project that will eventually die and holding such coin might not be the best.
Much depends on what kind of coin is in the purse, if it is bad and non-working, then as far as possible - it should be sold, and if it is a working coin, it should be kept.

During this time I always hold my coins, especially coins that do not have a high value, in the sense that the coins have a very dropped price compared to their normal prices. Because I think why sell at the lowest point if it only makes me more losers. I personally don't care and it's better to make these coins as a long term investment.
