You are only thinking on the positive outcomes but what if the coin in which you invested never recovers? Remember that about 90% of the projects are scams or projects that are never completed and disappear in less than a year, unless you are an incredible investor that can detect all kind of scams the truth is that from time to time you are going to invest in a token that is not worth anything and when that happens if you keep holding your coins there is a high chance you will never recover any of the capital that you invested in such a project.

I really don't have many altcoins in my wallet, but get bored when opening to see prices in trading. I hope the change of season will arrive soon, at least the price will rise by 30%. I sell altcoins because their value has not changed and is still below my expectations. my altcoin value continues to decline so I change it to bitcoin. some of the altcoins that I hold don't pump or have never been ATH.
If people seeing their altcoin going down, they will panic and start to sell in fast. But if people believe with the coin, they will not sell even if the price of that coin is down and they will still hold and buy more amount. They will survive by holding the coin because they learn about the project, they know the project was good so they decide to hold. If you sell the altcoin at the very bottom, then you lose your coin and at the same time, you are losing your bitcoin value.
Since most people are too scared and think that the investment will not recover, the decision to sell them at the dip is their last choice. Everyone suffers a similar situation when altcoin they keep continuously declining
Why do you think now is a very bottom? Alts could decrease for another few months before they recover.

You will need a long time to do research from an altcoin that is really promising.
to avoid losses from the altcoin that I hold, I make sure when the developer will do the token listing or the exchange of crypto coins, there I will see the volume of crypto assets that I hold, within 24 hours I'm sure the price will go down, but if a dump occurs then as My investors will sell it when the price recovers, so choosing good coins is very necessary for long-term investments.

It makes no logical sense to sell an altcoin right at the very bottom of a market cycle. Look I know its very painful to see that altcoin you love some much cause you so much grief, and not to mention checking your altcoin account balance looks like a scene from a horror movie. But I am here to tell you, to hold strong, keep the faith and ride this altcoin storm as we are about to hit a very sweet spot in the market cycle where altcoins will explode in value. Almost every altcoin is extremely oversold when comparing it to previous altcoin ATH (all time highs) and not to mention when comparing it to the bitcoin rally of late.

Sometimes there is logical sense and Many reasons can cause this, dev team might have left, coins not listed on a liquid exchange and hodler would be in need of money or a strategy to buy low buy starting the fire by selling low.

It is better now not to sell, but to buy coins, because they are very cheap, but everyone decides for himself what to do now in the cryptocurrency

That's right. I totally agree that we should not sell our altcoin now that it is on the bottom. Since we really invest our time and effort on it, we have to be very wise im handling our altcoin. It is true that we don't know if this is the bottom for all altcoins but the fact that it is below the ICO price, I think we need to wait until the price will rise up. Still there is a special case which depends on the hodler's need or decision. If he want to sell it and switch to. Bitcoin then that I think is reasonable enough now that Bitcoin is rising up.
People start selling alt coin because they want to invest on bitcoin. They see the price of altcoin dropping when the price of bitcoin starts to rise. Even they don't want to miss the opportunity thus they even up selling their altcoin and jumps into bitcoin investment. They know they will be making more profit when they invest on bitcoin. Thus they start selling even when the price is at the very bottom. They know that they can always buy back their altcoins at even lower price.
It is actually a very painful thing to continue holding altcoins while there is consistent extremely decrease in price value in the market. As a matter of fact, most altcoins price value is dumping day in day out. It is appearing as if one should sell those coins at anyhow price and forget about them, but we need not to sell cheaply so fast. We should encourage ourselves to stay focus and keep holding for better profit. It may not be easy to do that but we just have to. Some of us have been holding some altcoins as far back as late last year. Don't let us give up at this point as we are almost getting to our place of abundance interms of profit. Let us still hold for a while and watch the market booming again for better output.
