In the event of the banks allowing Bitcoin fixed deposits means, the banks will have access to the transactions of individuals who have their Bitcoin with them. I don't know which will override the other if these bodies are to come together and work as one piece. Bitcoin is decentralized while the banks are centralized.

I think we live in the pioneering era of cryptocurrencies, it will certainly be a lot of modification before all this invokes in full swing in the real world.

I think this is impossible, because the importance of banks in this is completely absent! Moreover, I think the simple banks will not want to risk so, because the price may collapse any day!

We all know how risky bitcoin is. Let's imagine the most riskiest money deposit situation.
What do you think guys, will this moment ever come and banks decide to offer us Bitcoin deposits (e.g. fixed profit on 1 year deposit and etc).
This can be very, very profitable for banks if they make correct decisions.
P.S I don't mean freebitco.in's offer of holds on their wallet. I mean if official banks ever offer us this service.

I think there is a possibility that banks will offer bitcoin deposits, maybe the owner of the bank know bitcoin already and maybe he/she using it. So that if he/she accept bitcoin to his/her bank, it is a good news for those people who are using his/her bank and if that will report in the tv or in social media many people will know that and find that bank to deposit bitcoin. I think also that some bank in some countries are accept bitcoin.

Using bitcoin in a lot of aspects is already possible. As time goes by bitcoin are being used broadly or in a wide range of possiblity in equipping its function just like in an ordinary fiat. I believe that some transactions are available now or is inclusive of bitcoins.

As far as I know, some banks already offer such services. For example, in Russia, some banks offer to invest in the crypto currency. But I do not know what exactly the implications of investing. I consider this a significant step towards the legalization and distribution of crypto around the world. I think that the future lies behind this. But can this be an attempt on the part of bankers to seize the entire crypto industry? Is it dangerous?

I think that would probably happen in the future as far as the business are concern banks will think of other source of income to enhance or expand their business income. Though the market is too volatile they could adopt it in the future.

What I know to day currently there is no bank that offers bitcoin deposit, Most banks today reject the existence of criptocurrency / bitcoin, because it could be riskier to them also due to price fluctuation.

I love keeping my fiat to the banks and they are profiting with it yet in the event that its bitcoin. I don't figure I would benefit this administration however there's a plausibility that it will come and they will focus on those bitcoin financial specialists/holders that doesn't generally comprehend on what bitcoin is, being your own particular bank. They may pull in those sort financial specialists by saying that their bitcoins will be sheltered staring them in the face. We know on how the banks are getting along well in profiting.

I have never seen banks distribute btc and I'm not sure when banks will accept that. Need something that is credible as a basis.
I am thinking that in the future it has a big chance that banks will offer a bitcoin deposits, and there is no doubt that a lot of supporters of bitcoin will became very happy when it happens and i know that many more people will trust bitcoin.

I don't think it's will be so easy for banks to accept bitcoin as deposit because of the volatility working with cryptos currency. Banks may run at loss if they do that.

I would argue that depositing funds in banks is even more risky. every business needs to adapt to these changes and challenges.
they may attract these types of investors by saying that their bitcoin will be safe in their hands. when that happens it is certain. big profits will belong to the bank. and we will only get a minimum profit

I'm with all of those here who say it's a matter of time, i.e. as soon as the banks find a decent way to protect themselves from the loss on BTC, which could run way too high, I guess, they are going to offer btc deposits, etc. No doubt. I bet they've been working on it pretty hard. Smiley

Everything in this world is dynamic. As well as the value of the momey, and the way we transact. Theoretically speaking time will comes that the bank will accept this kind of deposits in able to go with th flow ij that way banks will gain more profits with the help of bitcoin at the same time more people would likely to do transactions with banks to have an easier way. It is a win win situation.

If banks will accept bitcoin deposits then it will be so risky for their part. They might earn a lot or they may loss a lot. But maybe someday that time will come.

Yes obviously it can be happen but not very soon it will take some time because banks can offer Bitcoin deposit, if they find its profitable for them banks only work for the profits. And it's a challenge for banks also. Let's see how much time it will take when banks allow to deposit Bitcoin with interest.

I do not think that banks will ever offer deposits in bitcoin. For them it would be too risky. Bankers know how to calculate the degree of risk. Bitcoin is too volatile, so for banks, he will not be of any interest in this plan. Bankers have a lot of almost almost 100% profit opportunities, so they will not use bitcoin for deposit purposes accurately.

I think that we will get to the point when banks decide that they have to cooperate with the crypto community so they will start offering bitcoin deposits but it will not happen right away, this kind of precess will take a while.
