Bitcoins , Ethereum and ripple each has its pecuriarity and functions and considering the lead the Bitcoins has given to other crypto in terms of popularity and volume is a proof that no other coins will be able to bypass it.
I believe there is a chance that one of these two coin/token will gonna take over the first place in the near future.
ETH or XRP is way better in sending remittance because of its low transaction fee, unlike Bitcoin that is too expensive (fee) and long processing time.

ethereum and XRP might go up, but I don't think it's possible to grow until it replaces bitcoin. they have no ability for that.

this is very unlikely ethereum and ripples want to replace bitcoin because the two altcoins are still far away in terms of prices different from bitcoin. bitcoin more and more years the number of supplay is decreasing and will be increasingly rare.
this is not possible because bitcoin is still in demand by many people and the amount of bitcoin inventory is decreasing, this is what causes bitcoin to be increasingly expensive

I don't think some coins will replace Bitcoin. they will only be subordinates to bitcoin and are in a position under bitcoin. indeed the coin has good potential, but it's still difficult to replace bitcoin. the possibility is there like if the investors of Bitcoin totally converted into the ethereum or the ripple then only it is possible otherwise if anyone things to be the Bitcoin it is not an easy process to change the value of Bitcoin. 
If the Bitcoin value reduces only then it is possible but the possibility of getting the value to be increased in Bitcoin only is available so the other currencies like ethereum and ripple will not been definitely beat the value of Bitcoin in any situation and I can definitely sure that Bitcoin is the most valuable cryptocurrency ever.

Today, only BTC showing some progress, though Ethereum been a good potential platform as well as Ripple, but Bitcoin still have it's position. As we see today that after the long bear and dump, bitcoin was able to sustain and recover from a huge long dump that happen. Ripple and ETH might take long to recover.

all possibilities can occur because we know the nature and risks of the currency no one can predict for sure the development of any cryptocurrencies and in my opinion the development of crypto currencies depends on the investor itself 
I think this will not happen. It is unlikely that Ethereum or any other altcoin will be able to move Btc from the first place. And it is Btc that is the beginning of the whole cryptocurrency.

I dont think this will happen anytime soon. Bitcoin domince ia still high. Many institutions and countries have adopt bitcoin as a means ot payment and for setting taxes so Btc is still very much at the leading role of other cryptocurrency
I think this will be difficult to be realized. while the market has now been formed as bitcoin is at the top level and is also a priority for many people in all aspects. own trust is also great for bitcoin.
It's not because thinking that bitcoin will be replaced by any other altcoin seems impossible. Comparing the huge market cap of bitcoin and its less supply with those high supply altcoins, I don't think that they will be able to replace bitcoin soon.

I think it's very possible that someday Ripple or Ethereum will replace bitcoin, investors are certainly bored with the bitcoin position that is too strong so plan to replace, if that happens surely crypto market is getting better.
what will make investors bored if bitcoin continues to benefit them? Do you think investors choose bitcoin just for fun or just become a trend? so that when they get bored they can overthrow bitcoin easily?

I think it is definitely no. Bitcoin is the fundamental coin in this crypto world and will not be replaced by Ethereum or Ripple. Each coins has it’s own proportion and purpose, but i dont think these two will take the first place and dump bitcoin over the top.
