It does not seem likely in my book. I think all three pose a different unique use case and if anything I strongly believe the competition is good. I imagine us having multiple coins and being able to interact utilizing interoperability
If the Bitcoin stucked in a critical situation then the replacement will always been there so I think for that situation only the development of good investment will helpful to change the lifestyle of the investors but beating the Bitcoin very shortly is not possible in today's generation.
This topic comes time and again and the answer is always no. There is no chance of bitcoin getting overturned by Ethereum or Ripple even though those two are important top coins.
How can 2 cryptocurrencies share the first place? It will never happen. I do not know why some people guess that Ethereum can become the number one crypto. Bitcoin is the king forever.

In the future, everything can happen and even Bitcoin can be replaced with other coins. Ethereum and Ripple are very good coins and have enormous potential. But I don't think these two coins can replace Bitcoin. Even to get close to Bitcoin is very difficult.

Bitcoin getting replaced by ethereum or ripple will not happen now or in the later years. Till date I find the growth of ethereum and ripple getting influenced by the growth of bitcoin. More the growth of bitcoin more will be the rest of the altcoins contributing to the cryptocurrency network. Once ethereum gave a hard competence to the bitcoin marketcap and for the same it is impossible to takeover bitcoin.

No, bitcoin will never replace by ethereum or ripple or any altcoins, because bitcoin is already popular and use by many people like payments and investment.
of course not ... ripple may replace ethereum in a few days with slightly larger trading volumes, but if they (ethereum and Ripple) replace bitcoin it is very difficult to achieve,

Until now Bitcoin is still the number one coin, even Bitcoin is now starting to experience price increases. Ethereum and Ripple are coins with very good potential. Ethereum is ideed the second most powerful cryptocurrency next in line with bitcoin and its possible that it will take over as the leading crypto in the future. Anything can happen and we dont know the reason about it. But one thing is for sure, even ETH will take as the number one currency, bitcoin will exist forever.

i think in the long term that may happens but what is the next big thing no one now it may be a coin that is nonexistent right now just remember how google takeover yahoo
