Probably, most likely even. I don't see this happening anytime soon tho.

Or maybe bitcoin cash might over take it? That's still a big maybe though like every altcoin has the same chance.
Right now bitcoins are still king and I don't think it will change in the near future. Unless people find some problems
with it, I don't think it will go away any time soon.
The possibility is always there, plenty of altcoins are very progressive now and it is us who will decide on what we will use and continue to
support in the future. Bitcoin might be the hottest crypto currency now but there are a lot of better coins who has not gain the trust and support
of the people yet.

While there is no need to replace bitcoin with another crypto currency, I hope that this need will not be in the future. I would not want to depart from Satoshi's ideas.
It could be surpass in terms of success but it will not be replace because it is the original and people are using it as they get the convenience which they have not experience staying on a decentralized system. Bitcoin also gives individual a chance to invest since experts predicted this that it will be going to be a high value asset as it continues to exist.
I am agree with you that nothing of the kind will happen in future. Bitcoin is going is very fast in this race in respect of his stable value and popularity across the world, so why it will replace with any other cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin is revealing beneficial results and the returns from the bitcoin business is so much acceptable to people as compare to any other business. I think in future all other cryptocurrencies will hands up before bitcoin soon.

Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
It may happen some day in future. But in today's situation, its hardly not possible for any coin to replace bitcoin.High transaction fee was the biggest issue in bitcoin due to which some thought that other altcoins could soon replace bitcoin. But with segwit activation, that issue has been almost solved. So,for many more years,we could hope that bitcoin would continue to be number one.

Maybe in the future there is a chance that bitcoin will be replaced, but I think it is just a little percentage. Bitcoin is the pioneer of all crypto currencies and they are the start of becoming them famous for in th public. They are way too far ahead from any other coins and no coin had ever achieved their milestone. For me bitcoin will still be the king of all bitcoins the most successful crypto currency existing.

Yes, it might get surpassed. The same won't lead to replacement of bitcoin with some other digital currency. The basic will be there forever without which the entire system will collapse. Altcoins were developed with special purposes, but bitcoin is developed fulfilling multiple purposes. This makes bitcoin to be the best and continue to be the leader of digital currencies.

For now there do not seems to be any cypto currency which can beat or come near btc. The way btc has responded over the years has being magnificent. The demand has always kept on rising and now more and more countries are also legalizing this . Due to which demand will only rise for btc.

I cant imagine any other cryptocurrency thay can replace bitcoin
As fact states that the market movement is totally depending on the price trend of btc
No other crypto has gained trust and credibility as such as bitcoin

Why should bitcoin be replaced by another crypto currency, if it shows good results and opportunities? I hope that this will never happen. Bitcoin should be strengthened and grow to the delight of its fans and users. Altkoinov already under one thousand, however anybody from them can not be compared with bitcoin, even created recently BCC.

The possibilities are infinite, Yes it is possible but base on the statistics it would be far and hard to achieve. Bitcoin is the first crypto the was made my satoshi and I don't see my why do people always think that bitcoin will be replaced by another cryptocurrency?. As long as people use them and exchange it bitcoin will never be disappear. If soon bitcoin will get replaced by another crpytocurrency I think that it would be a long time to achieve that, we can see now some of the new altcoin and old altcoin that are trying to catch up with bitcoin are still far from reality to beat it. So therefore, bitcoin will not be replaced and still be the number in the market cap.

Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
Yes it make sense. But I think it is impossible that there'll be no one to use Bitcoin in the future. Like, it may be replaced by other cryptocurrency due to public and market's demand, but thinking that it will be no longer used by anyone, that's quite impossible. After the fork, BCC is climbing its way up quickly, for this reason, BTC will be overshadowed by BCC if the pump continues.

Bitcoin is still number 1 and would remain as it's used to be. It can't be replaced today, tomorrow and beyond! However, during the chain split (hard fork) on August 1, a new cryptocurrency emerged known as Bitcoin Cash aka BCC or BCH as a result thereof.

Nothing is impossible. The definition of 'impossible' does not preclude any case. It is possible that one day a bitcoin will be replaced when its value or activity is less favorable than that of another. But instead of being replaced, bitcoin should be edited and fixed for better.

You can think again, Does bitcoin replaced by another cryptocurrency. Maybe you already know the answer.  One main reason bitcoin is a mother of another cryptocurrency it's difficult to replace it for now . but nothing is impossible.

it is possible but maybe the one like alt coins can be replace like bitcoin because the price of bitcoin have too much disadvantage and its price is not normal in every year so we need to have an another coin when bitcoin dissappear

I think if bitcoin will be born again, what i mean is if bitcoin do restart again by where it is start it is more good but not same name.

no way the bitcoin can be replaced, it is too big to fail. There are too many big guys in it now.

The bigger they are, the harder they fall...

Im not saying BTC will be extinct tomorrow, but someday BTC will be overshadowed by another crypto. The only constant is change.

It is possible that it can be replaced but Bitcoin is actively developed and has the most reputable name on the market. I imagine it would take a long time before it disappears (if ever).

I think no. Maybe overpowered if the price of that cryptocurrency is higher to that of bitcoin and one important thing if it is independent of Bitcoin then and only then it can replace Bitcoin. For now, Bitcoin Cash is based on Bitcoins blockchain. Meaning it is just an altcoin of Bitcoin, not a totally new cryptocurrency. Bitcoin Cash is totally dependent on Bitcoin, it cant replace Bitcoin just yet.
