Bitcoin is a king of digital currency holding huge market cap and I don't see any other altcoin that has that power to take over or replace bitcoins as all the altcoins are not too big in compare to bitcoins and even in future bitcoin will rule the digital world.

When bitcoin is replaced with another it could be because now it's just making a lot of unique universal coins ... So another coin might replace it, or Bitcoin will develop in such a way that it will not exist anymore. We just wait when will the bitcoin be replaced.

It can happen if some other currency would have more interesting characteristics than bitcoin, but the chances are low because it doesn't seem that it will going to happen in the near future.
You are true. Bitcoin is the most trusted cryptocurrenccy nowadays. Some other currency can't bring enough trust to attract people. Bitcoin has a really strong foundation and its price is stable. Maybe Bitcoin will be replaced in the future but now, so many people use it, it can't fall.

Bitcoin is the first ever cryptocurrency that stood up the rest of the cryptocurrencies. The value of bitcoin is now too high and so hard to reach. The competency of other cryptocurrency is now too low they have to wait for bitcoin to go down before they can rise up.

Bitcoin as such cannot be replaced. But interest of people in Bitcoin can be replaced.

like, from FIAT point of view...

Now I prefer EUR to USD. But if they would start to print USD bank notes with some nice girls instead of those ugly presidents, my preferences may change. Who knows Cheesy

I think the Bitcoin is the foundation of all cryptocurrency that exist currently. Developers can make potential virtual currencies but  I think it is impossible to replace the First and the widely used and supported Bitcoin.
The time will come that bitcoin will get a lot of issues and the foundation of bitcoin will get weaker and that is the perfect time for another cryptocurrency to shine and replace bitcoin, there is no consistent thing in the world but change, so things will change as well as bitcoin that will be replaced by another cryptocurrency.

Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
None can replace bitcoin, in the beginning of bitcoin there was already cryptocoins before bitcoin, that cryptocoins never passed bitcoin neither the unborn ones.

as of the standing of bitcoin now? No, bitcoin will not be irreplacable even if it takes a decade. Bitcoin is the mother of all coins and will be the most protifable and the altcoins will only be the shadow of bitcoin. A good example is like a moon shine because of the light that comes from the sun.

I doubt it. While it's possible to chase its success, Bitcoin build an unbreakable foundation. More and more people start to talk about it. The Initial Coin Offering (ICO) also relies on BTC to circulate its good mission around the world. The ICO start-ups make use of bitcoin in an aim to improve the quality of business services that are useful to us. For example is Everex. Everex is a start-up goo.gl/E2NDF2 that aims to build a quicker remittance service internationally. The use of cryptocurrency makes their transaction a lot unique compared to other popular services we know of.

Exactly. With Bitcoin's long standing reputation, and brand recognition among the mainstream media, it is hard to beat. Also, it is the most secure cryptocurrency in existence, being used as a reserve currency for many of the altcoins within the market.

With this in mind, Bitcoin is very unlikely to become replaced by another cryptocurrency for many years to come. Despite the fork event, and many oppositions within the community, Bitcoin has managed to stand stronger than ever and that is what really matters.

Nevertheless, it is safe to say that Bitcoin will survive and remain as the king of crypto for the long term. More people are joining in, and its word is being spreaded to the masses, so that it would become one step closer towards mainstream adoption. Just my opinion Smiley

Probably bitcoin is gonna get replaced by a crypto that will stay more than bitcoin and other cryptos would ever have. Its gonna have an upgraded bitcoin with better and amazing features under another name. It will make its way into the world in such a way that no other crypto would be stable enough to survive its competitor. I am saying such things not because i hate bitcoin or something, its just that i want a crypto currency without any flaw(even though everyone and everything has at least one flaw).

I don’t agree with you. I don’t think so any crypto currency will be able to replace bitcoins by any means. All that we can expect is the better and upgraded version of bitcoins. I don’t find any significant flaw in bitcoins that is producing a space for new leader.

Of course nothing is impossible, bitcoin competitors from cryptocurrency will continue to come and do not close the possibility of bitcoin will have a competitor that is enough to make bitcoin hassles, of course in the future will present coin that has greater technology than bitcoin right ?

Exactly. There will always emerge new competitors that will want to take Bitcoin's place as the top cryptocurrency in market cap. But, it will be difficult for such a coin to do so, since Bitcoin has a long standing reputation and acceptance, which will continue to remain as king of crypto for many years to come.

Of course there are better alternatives than Bitcoin which provide faster speeds, greater privacy, and promising features, but the pioneer cryptocurrency has a long way since its inception as being the first dominating the market, and has continued to do so today.

Bitcoin will become stronger over the course of years, and will co-exist along with the most prominent altcoins in the market. Hopefully, cryptocurrencies would become used as a whole in the mainstream world for greater popularity and adoption in a large scale. Just my opinion Smiley
- The problem is time, sooner or later another cryptocurrency will also replace bitcoin. Nothing is perfect, Bitcoin is also not perfect and when there is a more perfect cryptocurrency, it will replace the Bitcoin but I think definitely we would wait in a long time, at present bitcoin is still the most popular, most powerful and is the most ideal investment place

That can totally happen. Nothing is last forever. But I don't think that's an end too soon for bitcoin.

Like you said, it can totally happen but the chances of it are very slim. Bitcoin now reigns as the number one cryptocurrency despite the growing number of competitors in the market due to its high price and usage. Another thing, millions of people are already investing into bitcoin and its popularity has already been noticed around the world. Some countries even ban the usage of bitcoins due to its nature being decentralized, thus making it difficult to regulate. Well, no one knows what will happen in the future but I really doubt that bitcoin will be replaced soon.

None of that is impossible, but I think for now the bitcoin will not be replaced, although other cryptoes are very fast development, let alone investor confidence for bitcoin can not be easily replaced ,,

When bitcoin goes to the limit it will be replaced by another cryptocurrency. I'm think so  Cheesy
Well, bitcoin supply goes to limit at 2140 so you mean at this time btc will be replaced... I don't think so!
By this time bitcoin cannot be replaced because it is the most popular and most used cryptocurrencies. What you are saying is maybe in the future there will be other cryptocurrency that will replace bitcoin but for now I don't think so.

you are right, there could any possibilities of other cryptocurrency replaces bitcoin position if they can reach more people with them and they can give many benefit than bitcoin. i think todays, many new coins especially ICO that gives more value and they trying to be the best among the others but for now, bitcoin is still the number one cryptocurrency and i think it will stay for a longer time.
