not anytime soon, as bitcoin is better than other cryptos
Of course, there is no cyptocurrency that will replace bitcoin. I don't want it to happen because I already believe of its power. I am almost contented using its benefits that others cannot. We would still count more years having bitcoin and let us to make real money online.
We should not be assure of this thing that bitcoin cant be replaced since not all things on this world last forever or permanent and time would really come that bitcoin could be replaced by another cryptocurrency,possibilities are always there but same as your i do strongly believe on bitcoin.Yeah, nothing is permanent similar to that quoted by the above mate, but with bitcoin i believe it lasts forever. It might happen, but its very unlikely. Since Bitcoin was created, many alts (altcoins) have come up. Only Litecoin, Peercoin and Dogecoin among them gained any real success. However replacement of bitcoins by altcoins is very unlikely. This is because of the many advantages that bitcoin has over other alts. Since almost everyone who finds out about cryptocurrency only really knows about Bitcoin, that’s the one they’re going to buy and try to incorporate it into their daily lives. Also, Bitcoin already has the largest community, most of which, of course comes from BitcoinTalk 
Bitcoin also has a higher value and is nowadays increasing in price very steadily, so there are very less chances of any price dumps. Moreover, bitcoin has caught the trust of more people, so less are likely to shift to a new currency. Transactions are faster in bitcoin, and there are many ways to earn, spend, invest and get profits from bitcoins, which isnt possible much for altcoins

It is well known the potential of Bitcoin, but no matter how popular it is, it will not stop other technologies from appearing. But since Bitcoin continues with a good team of developers, there is no reason to worry, because in most cases the altcoins have improvements that can be implemented in Bitcoin. The problem is that it is not very easy to reach consensus on the network for this to happen.Basically everything that altcoins have as flashy features can be implemented in Bitcoin as well, but there is absolutely no need for that as Bitcoin is working very well. The only thing people think could be better are the confirmation times. I can't really blame them for that as I understand that it can be annoying when you have to wait an hour to even get 1 confirmation in some cases. That's why larger blocks for now is the only thing that I see as a necessary update.

There is no doubt that these impressive features can be implemented in Bitcoin too (provided it makes sense to implement them at all in the first place, of course), but so far Bitcoin cannot be even successfully updated to just cope with the growth in adoption. In other words, no one talks about making a huge jump ahead, it is more about taking a small evolutionary step to just live up to already existing requirements, as you yourself say. Right now it looks impossible. If zcash cant do it with all its backing and tech advancement, i think u will need to create a new category of product to replace it. Something that solve all the same problem and many others new problems that we dont see now.

bitcoin is popular but its possible that any other cryptocurrency replaces bitcoin it can be by yhe price or by other factors. no matter what it is but we know bitcoin is going ro gather a lot more popularity when all the 21bitcoins will be mined
From these several years passing bitcoin is gaining its good reputation in terms of legal transactions via internet and i don't think there's another cryptocurrency that replace with it because bitcoin price is still the leading of all cryptocurrency right now, there were some kinds of cryptocurrencies gaining reputations but they were just only an alternative source of bitcoins and not itself. For me with strong belief of bitcoin, i'd rather say no one can replace bitcoin at all but we should believe that there would be a possibility of new form of coin will be made but doesn't replace bitcoin in the near future of internet world that somewhat similar to bitcoin because freedom is always there specially more programmers were developing their skills and there is no limitatiins in competition right now on the world internet we are bound to have free will all the time.
i know thats impossible but some day ago i was being invited in a conference on the cryptocurrencys they told me about how they think that the new altcoin ( asia digicoin ) is going to increase like bitcoin and so on so there might have a chance that these can atleast reach the mark
That is never going to happen that bitcoin would be replaced by another cryptocurrency because bitcoin is the most stronger cryptocurrencies above all the cryptocurrencies here in the virtual world. Bitcoin is the superior of them all here because bitcoin is the longest coin that ever live in the history, compare to the other altcoins that just last for months and all gone.
yes i am also not in favour of the statement that bitcoin can every be replaced by any other currency, i think bitcoin is the the most popular currency of the world, and ope will remain number one for ever. 
Its hard to believe some other altcoin has power and community support to replace bitcoin, i dont see others altcoins worthing 0,10btc thats a 10% bitcoin, even with big potencial coins its hard to believe we will swicth into another coin, but we never know, lets think some whale group wake up and decide to pump hard some coin to cross those wall, that for me is the first step to grow and get close bitcoin.

I guess everybody is entitled to his own opinion even if it is such a narrow minded like yours. However the price increase is such a bad indicator. There were times where Bitcoin had bad years and also the increase of some altcoins are bigger then Bitcoins if you look at it percentage wise, so other currencies are much faster growing then bitcoin.
