I do not think that this will happen, the bitcoin is way too big and I do not think it can be replaced anymore by another cryptocurrency.
you are right. bitcoin is currently the highest existing coins and other coin I think was trying to imitate bitcoin. I think that the day would never arrive, because most of the major investors, investing in bitcoin, and it will make bitcoin prices continue to increase. if there altcoin emerging, and has a high price, then the price of bitcoin will also rise.

So much imitation that the only sole purposes is to gain profits out of those investors.

Look at some coins (but not all) only care for the price but doesn't care for the technology unlike in bitcoin that people can benefit even it's used as currency or investment.

Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
According to me Its Possible Only If a Coin That is More Stable and Legit Arrives in the Crypto Currency Market....
But Now I Don't Think a Coin Like this Will Arrive....
It will Only Happens If All the Bitcoin Users Put Their Money Into Another Coin....

With the support that bitcoin established since the beginning and still bitcoin fails, I don't ever think that people will put trust again on other cryptos. Yes others will move to other coins but it's not the majority.

It's really annoying if we will start again from the scratch after getting advantages on what bitcoin has been made.

Replacing bitcoin will be a very hard thing to do and I don't think there is a coin that can do it. Because bitcoin has the most amount of support and people using it than any other coin out there. Bitcoin has been the first of it's kind and has been the longest crypto there is for now.
there where other things before bitcoin that tried to solve the problem of digital money. bitcoin was a huge step forward, but it is very unlikely that it is the last one. the big community is one reason why it will take a long time to replace it, but since we are talking about money people will switch very fast if they think their money is not safe.

Probably Bitcoin won't be replaced by another crypto currency but there might be another one who can go on par with bitcoin. A little possibility that a new altcoin rise in the next few years and competes with bitcoin, if that happens we have two options to where to put our money and early buyers of it will benefit. There's also a ver little possibility that bitcoin will be dethroned.
Of course, replacing bitcoin by another cryptocurrency can not be easily achieved, looking at the feature it has make very difficult to be dethrone because bitcoin was created on selfless motive while most of the cryptocurrency coming into existance now are mainly created to make quick money by the creators. That makes the altcoins incapable of repacing bitcoin.

I do not think that Bitcoin is going to be taken over by a other currency because Bitcoin is the most popular one so it would not make sense.
It would make more sense if Bitcoin took over the other cryptocurrencies.

I do not think that Bitcoin is going to be replaced by a other crypto currency because Bitcoin is the most popular one and the biggest one.
It would be weird that Bitcoin would be taken over by a smaller one.

At this stage we don't see any competition to bitcoins but there is no guarantee that the same thing will be followed in future too, as there is a possibility that bitcoin can get replaced in future by some new and innovative currency.
that's right since we are all in crypto we cant say what will happen in the next
coming years whether bitcoin can be replaced or bitcoin will still remain as dominant.

There are a lot of things that could be improved to get bitcoin accepted by more people, and some replacement in time wouldn't be such a strange move in my opinion.

There are some possibilities that this will happen but if I look at the market now I do not see it happen.
I think that the bitcoin stays the biggest and also the best with their high profits on terms.

I don't think that this is going to happen as per because of bitcoin there would be no crypto currency in the world. And most of the alt coins are just depending on bitcoin.

So for me, there is no way that another cryptocurrency will able to replace bitcoin in the scene. As people are more familiar with bitcoin.

Instead bitcoin will replace the fiat money soon.
who invented the first car? what brand was it? do we all still drive in cars of this particular brand? they are only a few real altcoins, that are not some knockoff to scam money.
however if there will be a superior altcoin it might become bigger than bitcoin, but surely not over night. there might even be one right now, but i do not know that since i have better things to do then checking out every altcoin there is.

I really doubt this can happen, all the altcoins are compared against bitcoin value, if bitcoin dies several crypto will fail almost instant, sure some others may fight for the glory but in the end people will stop believing into crypto and start to left.

Yeap but Bitcoin have a lot of years, Ethereum is a new alt and have 1/10 of the marketcap compared to Bitcoin, I don't doubt a new good altcoin can take the primary price in the cryptos, we just need to wait.

People just follow the money trail. Nowadays Ethereum is a hot item where people can make good profits from, but after some time, another coin will pop up and take its place as being the hottest and most exciting coin. Hyped up coins come and go. It won't have any impact on Bitcoin.
You are right. The reason of people buy altcoin is to get profit by trading with bitcoin. They are just interest to gain their bitcoin. By this reason I do not think that bitcoin can be replaced by another crypto currency. If bitcoin die, people will not thrust with crypto currency anymore.

For now it won't happen, but who knows in the future. One thing I can say, nothing stay as powerful forever. We know that strong hegemonic empires lasted for many centuries, but they collapsed in the end. The same thing can happen to BTC or any other currency, we just don't know when, but I believe we have many years yet of prosperity and richness with bitcoins.

This now is very imposible altcoin can replace and take over bitcoin
bitcoin without altcoin still run and work to exchange fiat money
altcoin without bitcoin is die

but long time over 5 year or ten year maybe bitcoin can replace or take over another altcoin, maybe ethereum or another altcoin
