I would like to know if cryptocurrency will replace fiat money in the future,  also if so how long it will likely take.  Also,  I would like to know which coin you think would take over if one will.  (E.G. Dogecoin,  BTG, LTC, XMR)

I think not in the near future, bitcoin is still the famous, most popular and most used cryptocurrency and I believe it is still growing and finding its way to the center stage. This century will still be dominated bitcoin. If ever bitocin will be replaced, another rising cryptocurrency is the etherium and I think it will follow the path of bitcoin.

Yes it could happened someday in the future if cryptocurrency keep used by peoples around the world.
but for now, crypto still cannot fully replace fiat money because the price of crypto still easy to change and not stable enough.

I do not think crypto can replace fiat money. Because crypto is just a digital currency and will not be real. It is very unlikely once crypto replaces fiat money. Although the development of crypto is very rapid and the more here all the coin prices get better but I'm sure until whenever crypto will not be able to replace the fiat.

For me, if cryptocurrency help people for their daily lives then I think it is a good idea to replace the fiat money, cryptocurrency today especially bitcoin is very popular today and I think it is a stepping stone to cryptos.

but judging from this law is still impossible since fiat money is still a legitimate currency. maybe the next few years, but it's not easy i guess.
that's true and if I think crypto will never replace the traditional currency (fiat). because the paper currency is a legitimate currency for many countries and the government will also certainly never want if the paper currency is replaced with a digital currency

Well i don't see that happening in the next 100 years because of how cryptocurrency is complex and requires proper internet connectivity which most of our African countries don't have.

I don't think cryptocurrencies will replace fiat currencies any time soon. Instead, they will coexist and complement one another. There will always be a need for cash, such as during natural disasters when power is out.

I like the idea, it is indeed possible to be quite honest with you, I really think that crypto can actually replace fiat in the future, though it is too early to state the fact that fiat will be replaces because as of now fiat is in demand and people use fiat a lot, but since crypto is also gaining the rise of attention I really do think that people will slowly start replacing crypto to fiat but that's just a wild prediction of mine.

Its good and all for cryptocurrency to take over fiat money but its too good. Like all I've said in the past posts like this, this event is most unlikely to happen. The banks and government is such a prominent thing and they want things right at their fingers, making cryptocurrency as fiat currency means that they lose control and hand it over to the public which may be problematic. We need to let the government to do their jobs in governing us and banks for keeping the flow of money, for crypto lets just enjoy its digital use and hope that it can be used aside with fiat currency.

I think it's fuzzy that it's exchanging fiat money because it's not really money in the voyage of the government is probably a kind of investment because it's not easy to change the fiat money

The war between Bitcoin and cash has already begun. Slowly but surely, the currency is gaining momentum and is becoming more and more familiar and ordinary concept.
I dont really think that crypto has a chance to replace fiat money because many people in this world will still prefer to used cash or fiat money in the future, and even crypto is becaming popular i dont think it will be used by all people in this world .

it is not realistic that bitcoin will replace fiat in the next 10 years cos bitcoin itself is not generally accepted now so can we predict such assumption now? it is not visible yet. lets just allow bitcoin to be stable yet before thinking of fiat. my opinion though.

Bitcoin will replace fiat money but not totally. As  we all known, many organisations have started accepting bitcoin as means of payment and it is an indication that very soon bitcoin will take over.

One might think that the current trend is towards a greater integration of digital technologies with the current economic system, however this does not mean that current cryptocurrencies can generate sufficient consensus among financial authorities, the banking system and cryptos' developers for choosing some of them as the ideal candidate to replace the fiat money, so I think they will continue to coexist for a long time.

I think replacing "fiat"  traditional money into cryptocurrency is really ambitious and impossible to achieve considering that some parts of the countries still can not access internet connection.

I think it would be very difficult for crypto coins to replace fiat money. Basically fiat money is ingrained in people's lives and it would be hard to change that habit.Iit also deals with government regulations that prohibit bitcoin as the currency that replaces the national currency. Of course the government will oppose if the coin crypto bitcoin replaces the function and role of fiat money.

From the very moment of its appearance, the Crypto currency was positioned as a substitute for money, giving a lot of arguments in defense of this position. Until now, this view has a lot of supporters, although it has become obvious that the crypto currency is not only an analog of money (digital money), it is a platform that can solve other problems.

I don't really see cryptocurrencies to be replacing flat currency in the near future. I do see some potencial for it but i don't think we are close.
