I would like to know if cryptocurrency will replace fiat money in the future,  also if so how long it will likely take.  Also,  I would like to know which coin you think would take over if one will.  (E.G. Dogecoin,  BTG, LTC, XMR)

I also think that the crypto currency will replace fiat money. crypto currency that will replace fiat money in the future that is Bitcoin.
but I think it takes a long time so that the crypto currency can replace fiat money because there are currently some countries that prohibit crypto currency and there are also some who have received crypto currency as a legal means of payment. if we now think of crypto currency replacing fiat money is impossible because crypto currency has not expanded to the world.

Nothing will replace fiat money. Fiat has been existing for long and its incorporated into every sector and daily activities. So for any cryptocurrency to replace this , it will go through all those stages which isn't a small journey . even if anyone currency is going to replace fiat money probably its going to be bitcoin and no one can say exactly when this will happen. The journey has started but its a long one.  A possibility is general acceptance which we hope it happens soon.
Taking into account how quickly technologies develop (and they develop with acceleration), then with a high probability the crypto currency will not have to go through such a huge journey, which at one time was done by Fiat money. In General, this trend can be seen in all areas of not only the economy but also the main technological progress.

To be honest, I don't see cryptocurrencies replacing fiat currencies anytime in the near future because the basic requirement to use cryptocurrencies is associated with the knowledge of using modern devices and we don't have the high literacy rate when it comes to the technology on a global scale thus some people will always use fiat currency irrespective of the benefits of cryptocurrencies. However, on the other hand, I do see exponential growth in the user base of crypto too and we will see cryptocurrencies will gain a place as one of the major players in the fund transfer industry.

In General, it is, because any cryptocurrency must be supported by a Fiat currency. Of course, top currencies can change each other, not to mention altcoins, but the dollar will always be the main binding for any crypt. A fact.

It is hard to say that crypto will completely replace money as it is in its beginning stage and the change will be seen after all the flaws of crypto (damage of banking system) will be overcome.

I think it's possible, but not in the next 20 years. And when this happens, it will be not Bitcoin. I guess that this coin hasn't been invented yet.

I dont think this will ever happen. The main principle of crypto coin is decentralized peer to peer electric cash system so if it become fiat money then it will no longer be a decentralization system.

Nothing is impossible in this world. but I think it will take very long time. because so far there are still many countries that do not believe in bitcoin. and there are still many people who have not been able to take advantage of technology and the internet. The development of the world increases the need for a fast, secure and confidential payment system. and the crypto currency is the right solution. and with such an advantage it is not impossible that everyone will take advantage of bitcoin.
I have not had time to think which coin will take over in the time to come, because for now I still believe in bitcoin.

I think this is a good idea, if this happens the crypto money will be the top one and today is already modern. But it will take years before everything is done across the country.  Smiley

it takes a long time if crypto wants to replace the fiat in the world. and if you look at it now then there are not many coins that have a chance to do it, I just choose Bitcoin and Etherum as coins that have a chance to do that. we can also see that there is currently no altcoin which can show a positive trend continuously and stable. So the choice will be few and it will happen for quite a while, Cryptocurrency fluctuates and is decentralized and do you think that the government will allow something uncontrollable to get into their economy and used as the main currency?

If crypto replaces paper money maybe crypto will be the best virtual money in the world. But I think it will not be possible, because crypto money is not supported by the government.

Crypto is always reserved to be used as a substitute for fiat currency but it is difficult to realize because if crypto must replace fiat currency then there must be regulation from all countries in the world related this crypto. In addition, there is a need for an economic balance of the transition period from the exchange of this currency.

I do not think that would be possible, because paper money is strongly supported by governments in every country. If crypto money replaces paper money, crypto will be the number 1 money in the world. But it will not, because crypto is not supported by the government and the bank.

This is really an impossible for crypto to take over the use of traditional money because using crypto as payment is very risky and its difficult to attain because payment transaction using crypto needs digital network and which is very hard comply especially in an community  in mountain places were internet connection is too slow.

I think it's very unlikely that digital money can eliminate the existence of FIAT money. Whatever the duration of time, FIAT money will be a legitimate payment tool in many countries, but if only part of the payment tool it is possible and the most potential coin to do so is bitcoin or ethereum

I don't think that crypto currencies can replace fiat money in the future as thats something that the governments would never allow. But crypto can run parallel to fiat money and there is no one stopping it from that. Also crypto doesn't needs to replace fiat money to be able to function properly.

crypto define the befits of being a decentralised currency rather than saying its is the future crypto can be handled as asset and fiat as money but mostly in digital format

I think change the National currency is not easy process. store and workers they have to switch fully to new currency that will take a lot of time. still too early to cryptocurrency to replace the Fiat. we still have to convince people that cryptocurrency much safer than Fiat and more convenient to use. the more people switch to deal with no cash that will not be a problem.
