That's somewhat true, but Dogecoin is still one of the most inexpensive and fast coins in existence right now. While it's a coin that lacks development, I think that there could exist a bright future for it, after all. It'll have usability in the real world, because of said factors, but it won't be able to rise in price as a serious investment due to its limitless supply. But, it's true that there have been many coins nowadays which have superior technology, making them cheaper and much faster than DOGE itself.

Usually, a DAG cryptocurrency like NANO or even IOTA could easily beat Dogecoin's purpose as a coin for micropayments, and tips, due to the efficiency such technology provides. Coins which are based in DAG, are near instant in transaction processing speeds, and have zero fees. In effect, Dogecoin could remain alive for quite a long time, simply because a lot of people are familiar with its image and branding in the market, but nothing else, since there are better coins out there which are a lot useful than Dogecoin itself.

But, being an old altcoin, Dogecoin has been able to stand the test of time, as it's one of the strongest altcoins in existence alongside Bitcoin and Litecoin. As time passes by, we'll see how it'll perform within the cryptocurrency market.

How does a public key and all its passwords help doge have a future? Thought we were suppose to be talking in the lines of demand, its community, its devs etc
 

Today, Dogecoine shows an excellent trend, he added 17 percent. I think it should be considered for a long time.

For me Its yes Because Doge coin is one of the most "Resilient" Altcoin in the MARKET today no matter how or what is the condition of the Market still Doge coin is doing great despite of its Huge total Supply. definitely it has a future and even conquer other Altcoins with the same class in the near future!

Who knows Dogecoin will be the following ETHER? Or on the other hand it could be the successor of Bitcoin? Advanced monetary standards are eccentric on account of its unpredictability by nature. Dogecoin has made its run now and began to demonstrate its capability to be a tip top cryptographic money later on which I think can be a plausibility for this computerized cash to be the following ETH or BTC.

DOGE will always have a future as long as there is value even if it is very small.

Dogecoin works based on public-key cryptography. Each address has a public password and a personal password. Only a new personal password is capable of decrypting the encrypted data that comes with the public password it will have in the future

Dogecoin will still exist if Bitcoin is still here. There is no new dev and it doesn't need new dev. A project can live without a dev, but it needs its community.

The team is very entertaining. I like dogecoin. I do not know its exact purpose, but market volumes are good. The process is fast. I used to transfer between exchanges before.

I' m pretty sure it's the most stable altcoin i' ve ever seen. It may increase its price not too high , but it has always maintained stability when the recent bitcoin price has been severely reduced by the fact that the đời of bitcoin is very serious , which is the birth of many altcoin , which is very severe , but dogecoin is still standing

I haven't heard any news from the Dogecoin team for a long time. This is definitely not a Scam, but the results of the work carried out there unfortunately.

Dogecoin was intended as a fun/play money for crypto when it started.

If you look at it on a different perspective, dogecoin actually has more value and acceptance than other crypto currencies (stil in the top 50).
Only goes to show that the community behind the coin is one of the most important aspect of a successful cryptocurrency or any currency.
I'll probably even accept Dogecoin as payment than real world fiat e.g. bolivar hyperinflation

I'm also thinking to invest doge but I agree with you. Doge is good for low price transactions and there are many companies or communities using it on that purpose. If it's price become higher, maybe this opportunity will be lost and then those communities will stop using doge for transaction, then again doge's price will drop...

The thing is that DOGEs are still used make me think positive about this cryptocurrency, so it will for sure exhist for some time. But today we have many interesting and cheap coins like NEO and EOS, so you need to be cautious about DOGE.

Unfortunately dogecoin is just like any other ordinary coin maybe its even about to fall in the shit coin brack as it doesnt do anything extraordinary other than providing a means oof payment.

With its current low cap this goes to show its officially a write off and has no future!

I do not think that Dogecoin will continue to develop and therefore I do not think that he has a future!

the developers themselves still do not believe in the success of their jokes, but many familiar friends use Dogecoin because it's really quick and minimal commission. But I would not fall in love with this crypto currency.
