I have never ever invested in Dogecoin, and I don't have any intentions of doing that in the future as well. The reason is that the developer of DOGE, Billy Markus sounds like a creepy guy whenever he opens his mouth. He is always saying that DOGE doesn't deserve the current market cap. When he says like that, why should we invest in the currency?

Better believe it man. And also you, I'm an immense enthusiast of Dogecoin as it gives quicker exchanges and fills in as a superior path for micropayments, than Bitcoin. These days, it is greatly shabby however in my eyes, it will dependably be a profitable digital currency to me. I'm trusting that the dev group could venture up, and convey advancement to this fun image coin, to enable it to wind up mainstream again. Meanwhile, it is simply to purchasing bunches of DOGE for me. Smiley

Dogecoin is just a humorous rofl-coin, which discovered a few help from the network. at the time, multiple years ago it changed into an amazing coin - low expenses, excessive pace, easy to mine. but in 2018, I do no longer see a splendid prospect. Now there are numerous coins, lots quicker and inexpensive.

Dogecoin has been my favorite alt coin for quite a long time. It serves as a good cryptocurrency for tipping others, as well as being a fun and inexpensive medium of exchange.

However, I'm worried what might happen to Dogecoin in the future, since it has been quite some time that no new version of the QT wallet has been mentioned, neither some innovation to keep it going for the long term.

It would become ideal for Dogecoin to add SegWit to its code, and gain traction if it gains acceptance from the miners. Then, if it manages to become the first cryptocurrency to accept the scalable solution, it could rise in popularity once more (not to mention that transaction will be near instantaneous).

Nevertheless, Dogecoin is a great cryptocurrency being inexpensive and relatively stable, making it a great way to tip others or send micropayments faster than BTC at a fraction of the cost.

Looking forward to your opinion. Wink

I am not against doge coin but in my own opinion, investing on ethereum or bitcoins is much better because it was more popular and the demand will keep on increasing because of its demand which will make the price to grow up in the future.

Regarding what are the dogecoin prospects, different opinions are expressed. Someone predicts a slow decline and death, others say good prospects for growth. Opponents of dogicin-pessimists reasonably point out that the "death" of the currency has been predicted repeatedly, but the crypto-currency community maintains a stable interest in Doge.

True. Even with everything Dogecoin has gone through, the community still supports it by maintaining its nodes, miners, and by actively trading it on the market. However, I'm afraid that at some point in the future, Dogecoin would not go very far simply because it'll become obsolete as a cryptocurrency for mainstream payments. Unless a new development team, or developer comes in, it'll be hard to save Dogecoin from becoming totally useless and inefficient in the future.

Despite this, I'm still a hodler of Dogecoin and a true believer of it. I sometimes wish that there would be a community takeover, to help improve the cryptocurrency in any way possible. Maybe Dogecoin would do best if it's migrated into the Ethereum blockchain as an ERC-20 token, or it's codebase would be updated to Bitcoin's latest version of Bitcoin Core. But in the end, if nothing else happens, then I guess that people will keep using Dogecoin as a speculative instrument. Sad

Reading reviews on the forum, I do not understand people, why do many believe that the project has no future? Look at the market today! There are hundreds of such projects as DogeCoin and they are very serious.

Many people don't believe that Dogecoin will have a future, simply because it lacks development and innovation, in contrast to most well-known altcoins in the market. Since the original devs have abandoned the Dogecoin project, the cryptocurrency itself is used only for speculative purposes. Without doubt, the coin itself is useful for sending micropayments at a fraction of the cost, but sooner or later, it will become obsolete as other cryptocurrencies take the lead in implementing the latest features for anyone to enjoy.

Maybe, after quite some time, Dogecoin will still exist and remain actively traded on the market. However, it won't be able to rise in price (because of its infinite supply) or go anywhere because there's no real development on it. All Dogecoin has is an active and supportive community, but when all of that is over, then you're left with a useless coin in the end. Sad

I think that this coin became popular only because of its name. It is not used anywhere, except for a few enthusiasts who use it for speculation. This coin has no future.
I agree because the development of doge prices in the market is less good and tend to be stable. now a lot of new coins that make doge a little less competitive.

Dogecoin  really needs to develop
for  helps in attracting investors to it
As you know, competition in the
crypto market is based on the technical development of each project

Although many are skeptical about Dogecoin, but for me the coin is quite interesting. When there was a maximum growth of bitcoin in December-January, I only used Dogecoin, as transactions are processed quickly and the price of the Commission is just colossally cheap! I will not be surprised that in the near future we will see at the price of 1 Dogecoin = $1.

doge is a coin that already has considerable trust and their community already has many members. doge is widely used for dice and can be used to minimize transaction fees between markets. doge has a future because everyone can buy it

Dogecoin also has one of the most active developer team with many contributors and code updates. Many people in the Dogecoin dev community have raised issues on Github to improve the Dogecoin codebase. It is also one of the coins which have the most liquidity and trading volume. So yes, it has a good future ahead. People love doge and i think it will stay here

The future is constantly developing. So the important thing is whether its value has been reflected now. That is the key.

My personal idea is that all the times certainly have changed. Similarly, at a price of dogecoin. Although now considered a small coin, but he will definitely start to develop into a big price that has the coin.
