I don't think that's gonna happen in the next two years. BTC will continue to be king in the near future. I also buy a little BTC every week and hope for good prices in 2019 and 2020.
I think it could be a possibility, for starters BTCs tech is crap, TPS is useless in the real world and ETH plans to scale and move consensus to POS (less power), so my answer is yes, it is entirely possible
I think ethereum costs remain below bitcoin, the chances are very small that ethereum's cost is higher than bitcoin but it could be that ethereum costs rise but won't be as expensive as bitcoin

I think it won't beat BTC it is because it has a huge market though eth is one of the promising altcoin for a long term investment but it is just an alternative coin for BTC.
I dont think so bitcoin will be very dominant and popular over the years especially 10 years from now we will see it all over the place for payment systems hotels, restaurants, mall and personal transactions bitcoin is the king and will never replaced by any coins in my opinion.
I don't think so if Ethereum can beat Bitcoin as we all know ethereum is always next to bitcoin maybe in future it will happen but not now in 2018 the ethereum price is really down we'll see what happen next cause their price is unpredictable.

That is a fact that the market has so many surprises but impossible is impossible and it is completely impossible in the short run that ETH will be able to beat Bitcoin. The market price is down as a result of low stability and low demand. The market cap has reduced immensely and the same factors are positive in case of Bitcoin. Moreover once the Bitcoin starts growing again, it will leave behind ETH far and long.
I certainly think it will. The main thing holding it back is that when people hear "cryptocurrency," they think "bitcoin." We need to get people to hear "cryptocurrency" and think "cryptocurrency." People don't realize there are better coins. They are all still dependent on bitcoin. So far the utility of ethereum surpass almost any coin and that is a big plus in the help for massification

i agree if crypto market is unpredictable but i really not sure if sometimes eth can beat bitcoin. bitcoin still the best as created in cryptocurrency. no coin can beat it even they have good tech/communities
That day could happen, but perhaps in the farther future. Today witnessed the deepest drop of ETH in 2018. I decided to invest more 10ETH and hold long term 
ETH's marketcap just got reduced today to only 1/4 of the Bitcoin's marketcap. Once, Ethereum's marketcap represented half( 1/2) of the Bitcoin's marketcap, so the chances for Ethereum to beat BTC someday seem very low right now.

ETH is only a junior of BTC, can not be able to overcome BTC in the near future, ETH current price is quite low and tends to fall deep, perhaps will collapse in the near future
