I'm not sure if Ethereum will beat Bitcoin in this year.
Bitcoin prices are currently very high even Ethereum until the last few months is still on the order of 2 after Bitcoin.
I think Bitcoin is stronger than Ethereum, then Ethereum probably beat the value of Bitcoin's price is difficult.
It will take years.
Not as short as in 1 year in 2018.

In the near future there is a big possibility that ethereum will cost as much as how much bitcoin it is right now but definitely not to beat bitcoin because most probably the value of bitcoin when the time come is much higher than the present. Ethereum maybe the most potential coin in all alternative coins but bitcoin is the foundation of them all and most of the big investors are trusted bitcoin more than ethereum.

I don't think so, no crypto could beat bitcoin even Ethereum. But in terms of alternative coins after Bitcoin, Ethereum is the best of them all. Investment in Ethereum is also the best and have sure income.I think not, ETH current price is much lower than BTC. If this happens it will probably take a few years to come.
I completely agree with you, the ETH has a very large potential, but now it costs 12 times cheaper than Bitcoin, that it would take several years to catch up with him.
many coins are racing to develop their respective technologies but I think that's impossible, like eth although its smartcontract technology is very good it can not be used as a benchmark to offset bitcoin, I do not think anyone can beat bitcoin.
As long as ethereum is alive and kicking in the market there is always be a chance that ethereum beat bitcoin someday but it will be hard for the ethereum to do that because bitcoin will always be the king.

I don't think can eth beat the bitcoin because someday the price of bitcoin is more higher than to eth so can't be beat the bitcoin. Bitcoin much more popular to invest than to eth.

No one can tell what will gonna happen someday,bitcoin is too strong to beat and ethereum has the capability to go high they are both promising coins.

Well you look a wise guy as not making and side. Of course both ETH and Bitcoin has been the top ranked crypto and have been the top notch spots for investment in the market but what I believe is that ETH might never cross Bitcoin. Both are expected to rise in the current year and I thin they will rise with the same ratio keep the difference or gap the same or might shrink or expand. You never know. 
Right now, I see these two coins have development rates and the upward pattern is the same. There are no coins than coins. Moving BTC to ETH will likely build your hazard. I prescribe holding both of these coins.
I think ETH has a good potential to catch or surpass BTC, but with all these articles that BTC will intend to become like a real currency then more likely, BTC will become a full currency and ETH will take place on the virtual market , also these speculations i think can be occurred in the next upcoming years.

Sure, there's still have chance for ethereum to beat bitcoin in the price, but it is impossible to be (in my opinions). That is will be happend when bad news or big whale of holder bitcoin, selling they mine. 
if the price ethereum could follow the price of Bitcoin, it could happen. because that is the price increase against fiat currency. small value for ethereum, but expensive for fiat currency. but the rise in the price of ethereum takes a long time because reaching a price like Bitcoin is very high.

I don’t think any coin can reach bitcoin one day. For now it’s impossible to any coin can beat btc. Ethereum is really good coin but it will never beat bitcoin.

In my opinion, there is always a big probability that, some altcoins might reach better prices than the price of bitcoin in the future. However, I think this can take a very long period.
I don't think that we will ever see it happen. Ethereum is very good, but Bitcoin is the leader. All crypto investors are following Bitcoin, not Ethereum.
