Recently Vitalik Buterin wrote on his twitter that if he was not there, the project would be able to work without it. I think that's true. Currently, its value in the project is not so great.
Just today I have read in reddit a post about how the ethereum platform geth is the 5th fastest growing github project. And it is the 5th largest github project in general. This means that there are so many people involved in the ethereum platform, researching and developing ethereum that it will probably never stop at this point. If Vitali dies or reject ethereum, the community will keep on coding
I don't think so. Because Ethereum is a very popular currency, It is not dependent on the CEO anymore, Like Bitcoin! No one knows who is Satoshi, but the value of Bitcoin keeps rising over the world because people are the power here. But If vitalik dies then Ethereum development may stop or the price will not be the same but Its value will remain one in the top 10 crypto coins.
ethereum will certainly be further developed, even without vitalik. i think ethereum is already too big and certainly will not just die with or without vitalik.

In any case - I am sure that the network of ethereum will continue to work and improve even without Buterin, if something happens to him or he wants to stop working
You have a point but his death may have effect but it would be for the main time Ethereum will surely bounce back. There are lot of big company that still survive even if a vital person die among them.... So I don't see that as an illustration that Ethereum won't survive.

Well, this is of course unlikely. As for Vitalik, I’m not sure that only Vitalik is behind the ether and a lot does not depend on him now, but he still has a great influence on eth, but I think this is a matter of time.
I think that this project will live no matter what happens with Vitalik. At the moment he is not the only developer of this project.

what a nice question though, It's kind of funny lol, I think it will never die because there are thousands of Ethereum developers involve and there are also very solid core developers even if Vitalik will die in the future Ethereum will still alive.

I assess the influence of Vitalik is quite large with the crypto community. and independent creativity when leaving the ETC. Evidence that ETH has reborn the best and more appropriate, more effective. If we take into account that facenews about Vitalik's death last time brought down Ethereum by 30% in a couple of hours, then I think if he really dies Ethereum will die too 
I don't think that is how it work, even if the team of Ethereum is changing, but it won't makes ETH failing. That is because Ethereum already standing firm and it already supported by a strong community.
