I think that NEO has very few chances to become a strong and worthy competitor for the Ethereum and even more so to defeat it in the competitive struggle. It is a great altcoin over all, with a solid team behind, it has a lot of back up by the chinese government and that is kind of strange but at the same time can make it grow more.

At the moment, about 80% of the projects and ICO projects are working on the Ethereum block. The NEO platform is aimed at developers of block projects from China, but while the ICO is banned, NEO can not compete with Ethereum, so it will not become stronger at least for the moment
