It sounds confusing but why not? Because of the growth of bitcoin users right now it is not impossible that it would happen. Only we can decide that in the future.
I do nt believed other coin can beat btc in the future because btc communications is too much very long time ago besides that btc is very popular in all countries since they are starting until now.
If they will surpass the features of bitcoin and meet the expectations of the users of the cryptocurrency then i agree that they the other coins will beat bitcoin in the future and that will become the reason or way for bitcoin to lose value and it will start to go down and a lot of people will leave the train of bitcoin because they are not making money anymore.
As of now I don't see enough reasons that some cryptocoin will surpass bitcoin in the future. It takes a lot of hardworks and extreme innovations inorder to surpass bitcoin. Marketcap and popularity really differs so it's really to predict that their will be other coin that can surpass bitcoin in the future.
I don't think so , because Bitcoin for my opinion is best cryptocurrency and won't change , but it's most important opponent is altcoin, so this can be a bit dangerous for BTC..
I think no others coin can defeat bitcoin in present situation but have a bit possibility of Ethereum. In cryptocurrency world Ethereum is the second favourite currency which have aquire to gain first place.

Yes, it could happen by means of time. We don’t know what future can bring to us, it can make bitcoin higher or else, it can bring bitcoin to its downfall ano have another different coin. There will always be a probability in every situation.

It's extremely difficult to predict which one will end up on the top, Considering the speed at which most of these coins have grown in value over the past 6 months, Its evident that we are entering a bubble similar to that of the dotcom boom. What this means is that while many of these coins will lose most of their value in the next 3 years, there will be a select few that will come out to become a household name like Google, Microsoft, and Apple.
For now it is difficult to tell or predict such thing happening. It will only happy loses it it value such that interest in holding the coin. This might pave way for a new crypto coin to taking. But unless all this happens all we could do is to do assumptions

yeah, i think there is no way other coin to beat BTC for now. even the fork coin can't beat bitcoin too. it's hard for other coin to beat bitcoin market cap every day.
Bitcoin is the main role in an exchange. want you not to admit it but that's what happens in a market that has a large volume. bitcoin dominates and other coin must adapt to bitcoin. maybe if there is another coin that has real functions in real market and digital. and legal in many countries. Yeah I agree with you because such this alts are younger yet compared to BTC almost old young alts are too much energy and BTC is doing refreshing.
