The problem is with many false beliefs that are used to prevent people from knowing the truth. We don't discard a real gold because of many fakes in existence. The solution to the problem is to find the truth and hold on to it.  How do you know the truth? Simple: by its fruits. The fruit has to be good. Go through the doctrines and their deeds. It will be consistently true and good. It will also be backed with Great Power, better still  by Miracles to prove they are good and actually backed by the CREATOR of the Universe



In regards to violence, there are people assigned with the task of punishing wrong doers. The violent ones are the wrong doers. If the whole event is recorded, we don't say the record book is evil and then foolishly ban it unless it supports the evil. The readers shouldn't just be shown the part where law the enforcement agents are punishing the wrong doers. They could end up thinking the agents are the evil or violent ones and the record book supports them. They need to read about the whole event to understand what is actually recorded.
It's not a bad thing for the good or truth to punish or destroy the evil/lies.  It's not a good thing to let the evil be and not have it punished.  This is part of the reason we have the law enforcement agencies in the first place. We don't accuse them of punishing or destroying other humans when we see them doing their job.  But it's OK to accuse those who go about it lawlessly or do it outside the law.

So when you read or hear about religious "violence", be sure it's justified and according to the law (a just law).  Without law enforcement evil will spread.
Even in the microscopic level in/on human body the cells constantly war against evil to keep the body healthy and prevent it from being conquered by  invaders and traitors. It won't be fair to accuse the cells of wrong deeds whereas they are doing the jobs they were created to do.

Well I think it is ok to have your belief in a certain type of religion. It is ok to feel good about myself and have these types of beliefs.

Religions are going to try to destroy other religions because they think theirs is the correct one to believe in. I think it has been like that for a long time in history. And it will always be like this forever.

Save from what? We all have sinned and we know about that, but we hope that God comes and saves us. Maybe it is time for life changes.

Am not sure of that, is only God that can save we humans being.

Religion is only a tool. God uses it to save people. The devil uses it to destroy people. People use it to make money.

No I only believe that only God can save us. Yes you can gi to church to listen to the Gospel and help us to understand and to know more about our God. But at the end of the day it depends on our actions, our good deeds and our faith if we want to be saved.

There is only one Religion. The one which the  Living GOD is served the right way is the True Religion.

True religion is serving your CREATOR in holiness and righteousness. If you are truely Religious , you will be living in constant holiness, which means, you love GOD and people, and you must refuse to let the World corrupt you. And you must believe in JESUS as your Messiah/Savior and Lord.


Anyone who says "I love GOD" or "I'm religious" but hates people is a liar. He/she is practicing False Religion.

All religions have seeds of truth. Sooner or later, but everyone understands that God is one for all religions, teachings, faiths, philosophies, etc., and it doesn't matter what we call him or her, or what concept we build around it (God is one for all forms of life, even for aliens at the other end of the Universe, etc.) To put it simply, God is Love in different manifestations. When we do something right, we act according to our conscience, a particle of God awakens in us - our immortal spiritual foundation. This material world was created for the development of our soul (you can call it differently, the essence does not change). To save yourself means to merge with your soul through conscience and right actions on the path of life. We come into a series of reincarnations in this material world as individuals (without the acquired skills and experience of Love), and we leave here as developed personalities, ready to go higher and higher into those worlds where there is no time and space, where there is only Love.

No, religion just give us instruction and way how to spend your life in this world and how to treat others. Only our deeds save us. If we done with good deeds Allah give us reward against these deeds. If we done with bad deeds Allah give us punish against these deeds.

I'm an atheist, so I don't think religion could "save" you since there's nothing to save you from in the first place, y'know?

Probably he's pertaining to life after death. They say if you're a good human being during your time here you can be save otherwise you'll go to hell. Back to the topic, as I have said it depends how good you are because a religion cant save you. IMO the judgement will be based on your journey on this earth.

I totally agree with you. From a personal standpoint, religion just divides people right. I think that your spiritual belief in God can save you from any dangers.

I'd say - religion can't save you from everything bad that will happen during your life, it can't save you from death neither.
Perhaps it looks like many religions do argue about who is going to be the savior after all, but thats not the point
Imo the best thing about religion it can save you from making many hurtful mistakes

If you were referring to if it save us from death,then my answer is no. Death is inevitable and all must die in their due time. Or if you werereferring in armagedon, then it depends on how do you believed in.

Religion would help you know and understand more about your Creator, including your purpose in life when you're trying to make sense of the reasons why we're born in this world that we live in.

But nothing can be further than the truth, that even if we'd try our best to know and understand everything, without genuine faith and the wisdom to follow your true purpose, a lot of people are called yet they never answer to follow the footsteps towards the way, the truth and the light of the road less traveled.

Well i have my own belief buddy 

and that is we are all going to die no matter what,and there is no chance that a single individual will prevent that from happening.   

I agree with you that religion can never save us so it is the greatest There is usually only one God but we follow different names because of the differences in religion.

Different strokes to different human! Best is to live peaceful with oneself, serve God and care for your fellow neighbour. But dwelling on religion will lead no one anywhere rather it causes more troubles breeding hatred and enmity amongst ourselves.

There only a simple answer to this. NO, religion will not save you, it is your faith in God which will save you.

Just remember. You can close your eyes, and put your fingers in your ears, and cross the street blind and deaf, believing that there aren't any cars coming. But you can also open your eyes, and listen carefully with your ears, so that you have something to base your faith on.
