^ I doubt that is true in casinos, I get that exchanges do it because they want to be shown in the volume list of the ranking websites however that is how it started, some websites did it to look higher and then everybody else had to do it, if you didn't do it as an exchange you would be looked like 10% of volume compared to other websites and I honestly do not think that you would ever find a place for yourself if you do not fake your volume as an exchange because of it.

However casinos do not have that, there could be a million people gambling here and all that means is people lose money to the casino, it doesn't really change much in casino world if you are the only person gambling at that moment or if there is thousands, you are alone in many of the games (unless its like poker or something).

why will they fake those stats  ? just to show off ? lol i dont think its effective because i think people are not dumb enough to fall for fake platforms  .  i remember i see many sites that have fake stats which is ridicoulosly obvious  .

they arent even popular and they get those unbelievable stats ? shame on them  .  but this site windice is already well known on here and also outside the forum   .  windice is now competing on a those big gambling sites  that we often see here on the forum  .
If you think every place gives you the honest numbers you are in for a treat if you check out the exchange volume numbers Cheesy. They are promoting their websites with as much as x5 of what the real numbers are, they are faking as much volume as they can to make their own websites look higher on coinmarketcap so that they can be known and people would come to their exchanges and the more people that comes the lesser they need to fake.

Of course, that is not really all that common in dice websites and I do not think windice does that at all, they are definitely showing legit numbers but that is because I trust windice and I know they are actually quite crowded everyday by playing here and seeing the people who actually play, but just because windice is legit, doesn't mean all others are as well.

Nice milestone, in very near future we will celebrate one billion bets! Smiley

Still long way to go imho Smiley Looking at the some previous 10 millions milestone, windice needs to take 7-10days for 10 million bets. Who want to calculate when 1 billionth bet will be hit? Smiley I'm just too lazy to calculate, probably it can be used to make a promotion. Promo to guess when will windice reach 1 billionth bet.
That would be a good contest or promo and the number of guess could be based on how much players wager. I checked some of their million bets post and basically their players are making an estimate of 30 million bets per month based on the last few months. But recently they've been gaining more bets if this kind of pace continues they could reach it somewhere less than a year.

This is a good start for Windice, they are quite a quality gambling dice website. Most of the gambling sites started from the bottom, there's no easy way to get from the top. You should also appreciate it since currently they 3 games on their site, which is the Dice, Crash, and Plinko and they already have 370 million bets, a great milestone indeed, they are growing.

even though I haven’t manually checked those numbers, but theres no doubt in my mind that all those stats provided by them here are true. Also they were able to get these many bets because of their smart marketing strategy, wherein instead of one big competition they kept on announcing small competitions and those small competitions got them rich dividends.
Yes, it is normal that there could be some sort of increase in gambling nowadays, after all we are all stuck at home (god bless people who are still working outside) and that means we get to gamble a lot more whenever we are bored, hell right now on one computer I am doing my work, on PS4 there is a game open, and on the other laptop I opened some youtube video for the laughs and giggles.

Honestly I can't say I am doing all three at the same time exactly but I take turns, like do my work for a while, when it calms down start the youtube video and the game, when there is a work just pause the game and so forth so forth. Basically windice might be getting a surge in numbers but that doesn't really mean that its windice that got it, could it be? Sure but it doesn't directly mean that right away.

Has anyone checked the pace between reaching each 10 million bets? They keep sharing at every single 10 million bets all the time but I have not seen any data to show how quickly it became from zero to 10 million first, then 10 to 20, 20 to 30 and so forth, it is only 36-37 times if anyone wants to check but honestly I am too lazy to do it myself.

I am pretty sure it peaked somewhere along the way but feels like not so much fast as it used to be nowadays, during that period of 150-250 million somewhere along those lines it felt a lot faster, or maybe I just got used to it being this fast and now it doesn't feel like fast anymore even though it is around the same speed. With everyone staying at home right now, I feel like maybe it should became a bit faster.

Is the contest winner randomly chosen? or with the most bets or with the most rolls in the game? if the kintes of the winners are selected from the most roll, of course it will be very difficult to win this contest with very little capital

www.Crypto.Games: Multiple coins, multiple games
Big prizes attract more players, and more players means bigger profits for the site. If someone won a lot, by chance, making the site to lose some money, it doesn't mean they should stop doing what is profitable out of fear that it can happen again.
I sincerely hope that they will return it to bigger numbers because honestly it was awesome to watch those huge races. Nowadays it is feeling more like people would already wager anyway and just happens to reach it at the exact time of the contest and that's about it, okay maybe some people may wager more than their usual self but not really all that much. The prize for the winner was 0.1 but I was talking more about the whole prize, they paid a lot more to rest of the people as well so it reached to 0.2 or 0.3 if I am not wrong, I know just the winner got 0.1 so it must be around 0.2 at least.

Right now, the WHOLE contest is lower than 0.1 which was what only the winner got back in the day, which is the reason why all of this first all started to begin with with the fact that they lowered the contest prize significantly.

Yeah I know where the contest button is, that has nothing to do with what I was talking about at all. I simply said "you guys used to had 0.2 btc, why is it 0.03 now" and that's it, knowing where the contest button is basically doesn't even remotely answer my question. About the other part, they used to do it weekly as well but just wasn't specific intervals, for example first few contests were all starting on Tuesday/Wednesday and they kept it up.

Can you, please tell me, where did you get those numbers from? From what I can see, the prize was 0.1 BTC in the very beginning of the WD wagering contest, and it is 0.012 BTC currently.

I think this last 30+ bitcoin one actually ended up rodolman at profit, so he both made quite few bitcoin profit AND got the free money as well on top of it. That is probably the only thing I can think of right now that caused them to stop giving away that much, otherwise the more people wager the better it should have been for them.

To be honest, I see little logic in this assumption. Big prizes attract more players, and more players means bigger profits for the site. If someone won a lot, by chance, making the site to lose some money, it doesn't mean they should stop doing what is profitable out of fear that it can happen again.

What happened to big promotion contests of the past? You used to do 0.2 bitcoin contests almost every week and there was a point where it peaked literally at 30+ and after that you guys just stopped it. I assume it wasn't as profitable as you imagined? Like maybe those people who wagered over 100 bitcoin total for a competition maybe didn't give you over a bitcoin in profits but gave you losses because some of them actually ended up winning?

I can't think of any other reason why you would stop it, there was so many people gambling so much more than what you are offering that "on average" you should have been making over 5 grand per competition according to house edge, maybe would be a loss once or twice but the average looked like you would profit a lot. Why did those stopped?

When on WinDice click the CONTEST button here:

There's almost always a contest running on the site. Yes, the prize pool is lower since recently, so maybe you are right, it wasn't profitable, idk. But they are running chat trivia, apart from other things, and they have thousands unique players during a given week, which is not bad, imo.

There could be many reasons why they have lowered the price pool and one of them could be the profitability, and second one I feel could be the popularity of their contests, and hence they decided to increase number of competitions and decrease the prize pool so more people get the chance to win it. Furthermore a contest is done at the sole discretion of the casino, and as a gambler you should respect their marketing methods.
