If I ever had 30 bitcoin debt... well I couldn't ever get 30 bitcoin into debt because nobody would even give me 30 bitcoin since they would know there is no way I can pay that back with this little amount of money I make.

I see these contests as something gamblers would already play anyway and that is why they do not care about the house edge parts. That or maybe they continue as long as the profit is there, so maybe rodolman gambled 30+ all because he gambled and was in profit and wanted to keep going as high as he can to win it while staying in profit as well, maybe he would have stopped if he was in minus but with the reward and all dude was making profit so decided not to stop.
Either of those options must be the reason because no other sane person would both lose money all that much, care about it deeply and still continue to wager that much. So, either rich person or a lucky gambler.

@darewaller many of these gamblers only care to top the table and for them this is surplus money which they can afford to loose, also I believe that’s the case out here but then again I could be wrong too maybe he’s a whale (high possibility) so let’s wait for different analysis of this gambler.

At the times when contest was live, I checked under "highrollers", RodolMan was rushing with 0.02 BTC as the basebet at the last hours of contest. How it would be possible for a gambler to keep on betting with higher amounts without bothering about negative rolls. I checked for a while and I never saw any red for him. Well, it is very likely then that this particular player was in a good profit from participating in the wagering contest. But overall I think that if 1% of the wagered amount was guaranteed for the top 30 winners, the contest would attract much more people, and, at the same time, returning the house edge wouldn't be a big deal for the site. No casino has to be your friend, there could be some smaller places that talks with you and writes on their topic and basically chats with their users even when there is really no problem at all and places that basically becomes like personal chat places but that is not a requirement. When you look at "better" places you may find one but do not forget that there are worse places as well so in the end windice is still a great place with amazing support, they just don't chat with you and that is not a must if you ask me. I'm surprised to see complaints about WinDice's support. From my experience, guys are doing great job in managing another good gambling site. Their mods are responsive and helpful, and I can't imagine they are ignoring someone for no reason. Have they scammed anyone? I don't think so. And that's what important. As for the possible minor mistakes in communication, no one is immune to mistakes, no one is perfect.
I agree with you in that the team is usually quite fast and efficient at responding and helping out.
So just like you I'm surprised this even happened, though still, if these mistakes did happen then at least there's a feedback the team can work on and make sure this won't re-occur! Either way it's good to leave these comments as these can be addressed in a constructive way.

I think the problems got bigger when people realized that other places talk with their customers on regular stuff as well and do not want for a problem to rise. I mean when you are stuck and there is a problem, sure windice does end up helping you when you contact them and that is a bare minimum good quality support.However, when you check other websites you will see that on their topic there are a lot more interactive members of the website talking from regular life stuff to basically keep everyone posted all day every day at least once or twice with their messages as well. So, when windice ends up being great at regular support stuff, when they do not interact with you here aside from occasional "we reached this many bets" type of message, that counts as no interaction at all.
