More contests means more chances to attract more players to test and play. Running a contest is a hit and miss thing. A site may lose an amount today for running a contest but they gained/keep clients that would probably stay playing for quite sometime. Its harder to keep a player than to attract a new one. If they run more contest then players will have no time to look for other sites and take their business there.

About their marketing way - they done just the basics but at least aggressive and further on we would able to see another set of competition or contest.

Windice has been making a decent amount of profit from the features and promotions and contests etc etc so they realized even if they don't care about the feedback they will still make money no matter what. It is like gaming companies who make half good games (I am talking about you fifa) but know that they will make a ton of money because people buy it anyway, so windice turned into them. Hopefully they will realize feedback is important on casinos.

13 hours to go before reach new contest and the current contest has slightly different because it's one day contest and the prize of winner also reduced became 0.1 btc and unlike the previous contest the top 50 will get the prize but it's only top 10 with the most wager will get the prize i think it's more hard to do so
It is obviously harder for us who have low bankroll but it remains the same for those who usually on top 10.
Maybe it is now the right time for Windice to offer something like rakeback, many other sites has this feature so it will attract more players especially those who like to wager a lot every single day.
Combination between wager contest and rakeback seems to be the most popular strategy used by gambling sites these days, so I think Windice should consider to add rakeback system.

Yes, there is still a chance of losing a ton but at least it would be a bit more possible since there is a limit how much you are going to play and stop before you end up losing all your money, if you do martingale forever eventually you will lose but if you set a certain stop there is a higher chance of winning.

its far from a bonus because i think bonus means something that you are given to you directly after doing some easy task but waggering contest or races are kinda bit hard for regular rollers but its also considered as a promotion . but why would you go on using these arguably low bonuses sites when other dice sites which are more established like Bethash can offer much higher bonuses?
the site is not really that old . maybe this is the only amount that they can afford this time but who knows in the future maybe they will increase the prizes . people will not be the same , some plays on other gambling sites if they are comfortable with it .

I see a different schedule on this poster start 24 October with the schedule on the site will start 25 October, which one is correct?

The website says that the contest will start on October 24, 19:00 (GMT) But the anouncement here in the forum doesn't include the exact time. Maybe you are referring to the time based on your local time. That can be October 25 in many regions.
