^^ Yeah, but it is still not a fixed thing, this ends and they will suddenly decide to do a new one and will post it here couple days early and we will see another one.
If windice really wants to make more money, they should definitely start to do like a weekly contest thing already, I know there must be some things they need to go over and need to figure out before they can make it a fixed thing because this is for now is something they can decide to just not care about and leave it be whereas if they do a fixed one like every weekend or whatever it would be really difficult to decide not to do it and give up, so right now they are using their "maybe we will decide not to" option but it is so obvious that this will continue to be awesome for a long time so they should definitely consider it.

I think the contest got the 200 million bets help, I mean as soon as these contests started we saw a skyrocketing number of both wagering numbers going up plus the wagering count as well, right now we are at around 200 million bets made and it was not like that just a week ago, we are on pace to be as fast as 3-4 months ago a full month inside a week, so our one month would be equal to 4 months back in spring time.
With more contests (and HOPEFULLY more fixed days instead of randomly popping up the same god damn contest) we will definitely get to 300 million very very quickly, I would say early 2020 would be quite possible like January all depending on if windice makes this more frequent and with a fixed intervals so people would know when they will bet on the contest.

That is why I think it is quite important to check the top 5 in general, the more they wager the more top person will wager as well, 10 btc may increase or decrease depending on others, if the second place is 1 btc, then first place would be at most 3 btc, if the second place is 5+ btc then the first place will of course be 10 btc or close to it.
The first place in the last contest already wagered 10.1 btc. Anyways, 10 btc is the logical maximum a player can bet without losing more than he wins during the contest in regards to the price pool (1% house edge). As long as windice doesnt increase the pool we wont see more than approx. 10 btc wagered I think. there are gambling sites that get players who wager more than 10btc even in a single day even without a contest going on. not all players are only playing because there is such contest where they can win some bitcoins.

Well, I'm with both. But people are here and still gambling because of contests, contests have more appeal here.
