If other people can restore your wallet, then everyone can restore (read steal) your wallet. It is how encryption works.

It is why you ALWAYS make sure to backup your seed.
People also lose lots of bitcions and other cryptos to lost seeds.

Investing in crypto is a harsh business, because no one can help you, if you screw up. And yes of course its rough to lose your money to a small mistake, but the fact is that the encryption that makes the entire system work, is also what prevents you from recovering funds, you may have lost.

The one hope that some people have here, is that the wallet is stored encrypted in your browser cache. If you still have acces to your account on the site, you may be able to recover your funds or access your private key.

I just want to tell that WINGS made a huge work to collect many of seed loosers. I am really think that. I found about 10 actions which help to forget and get wrong understanding of situation with seed. And just 1 thing, which help us not lose money. It's 1-moment window with seed. Also i see that WINGS lawers are ready. This incident looks as planed. It's very sad!

Etherum used something similar. Several other also gave you a private key that you had to import.

Most of it is just people getting confused about a badly worded blog post.
At the moment you actually cant do anything, apart from looking up the testnet address that holds your tokens.

I do hope they will give you the option to transfer your tokens from the site, without having to import the private key. But we havent heard if this will be possible yet. If it is, it will solve a lot of the problems people are having now.

Can anyone remember project who used same scheme of token allocation? It looks exotic, but no any information for investors in advance. If i see to seed confirmation right now, i cannot think that it will be exclusive method to get tokens. Reserve, but not exclusive. It give me a fake value view to this code, because we have no information about non-fuctionally of current account. Where is information that this account will not have normal withdrawal?

If i remind that lost seed, i still can continue use account. I am not going to use recovery code, because i still have access to account. It's a huge difference of this code value view. Nobody waited to get exclusive access to tokens by this code.

I was very confident in the project. But the public offering seems to be unable to protect its future investors who can not protect their downstream investors.

Yes at the moment, all you can do it check that you have gotten the tokens on the testnet.
You cant withdraw beacuse the tokens you see now are on the testnet. Guess the point is to see if it works before releasing the tokens on the mainnet.
Hopefullyh you will get the option to withdraw from the online platform, so you dont have to bother with more addresses.

I have a theory, I think the team is deliberately frustrating investors for God knows why, they just don't want us to gain access to the token. Why would you preset an address for me, this is the first time I'm seeing this

There is no ETH address. So I think thats supposed to say WINGS address?

The only addresses which are displayed are the WINGS address, and a MISC address of I don't know who owns that..
There is no "ETH" address to add, change, or anything.

Many say that everyone will be able to withdraw funds in the wing that has been specified by the developer, do it in May next so it's best to wait for the time that has been specified, so that no error in the delivery of your funds ..

we can access the wings token at the dashboard of fly.wings.ai/backing campaign, we know the wallet address, there should be a way to transfer the coin to a different address at the dashboard.

it is clearly stated that the seed will be use for recovery not to verify.

i hope wings developer clarify the issue.

we did not put the money(ICO) in a form of a gamble like in a casino.

what if the seed was lost due to force majeure or accidents?

Of course! It's easy to say now, but it's first information about token allocation. I saw warning that it was recovery code in Russian.

I send coins after 40 days of this window. I still have account access, why should i know that it's trap? I have all my seeds, never forget to write. But i don't remember where is this seed. It's usuall human mistake, which i can do after 40 days.
Also, i have another seed, but only 1 account. No any account were created during these 40 days. No wings letters in e-mail boxes this day. Trying to wait answer from support about this seed now.

Why will i access to token only with seed, but noone ask me seed when i get BTC-address for investing?

Also, we have no any seed check or at least warning about seed. I invested in 40 days after account creation. I could not remember about seed after that time.

How can alpha-account give me private key if wings not save seed? Private key gives me same rights to access ether-wallet and wallet have 1 private key for testnet and mainnet. Where is a magic?
