A majority of my profits with cryptocurrency came from altcoins, but I also lost money too buying the wrong time - I remember buying Stratis and Rads, for example, and never seeing a profit.
Altcoins is far more risky and dangerous than bitcoin, which the "buy & hodl" works well. Altcoins you might hodl a worthless coin forever.

Trading on the exchange is a game with a negative sum. The winner gets less than the losers lost. A commission that is so small at first glance takes a lot of money from the market. Would have been much better off just leaving everything in bitcoin. Altcoins suck.
There are a lot of altcoins out there that the value appreciates over time. You just have to trust in it and better to hold it for years if you want to gain more profit from it. Not all altcoins are bad.Yes, all altcoin is not bad there are some potential coins on the market where it has potential and ability to increase their price but finding the good one will always take time. It seems if you bought Bitcoin Cash when the price was below 0.1 Bitcoin, you have made good profits.

it is just like good sense but not all altcoin some are pretty good and some are just trying work fine but not good this is good decision but i think investing is better option ever without investing you cannot get the plateform ever if you want to became good then invest there and make profit.
This happen slowly, but BTC pass the weight to the alts. It's not soon, but the time will come when the alts will have the greatest weight in cryptoeconomics.
What people don't realize is that there is time for everything, Bitcoin moves up and down, like wise Altcoins, there were time when most of these BTC maximalist were crying foul and Altcoins were overvalued because they saw the prices are caching up with that of BTC and performing better than BTC. It all depend on when you get into the space

do not be so hopeless. with altcoins, huge amounts of money can be earned. we saw a huge crash and we all hurt, but this will change. i hope prices will rise again and you will profit again in a few weeks
this is a natural thing because maybe the person is experiencing a lot of asset decline. they may experience -50% more than their estimated asset when buying it first anyone can be emotionally and upset about it

I think you just baught the wrong altcoins. Bitcoin is good but there are also many altcoins that are good. And have potential to grow in the future. 
this not to deprive you but for sure you are a newbie on this industry. You'll be eating what you are saying when the altcoin bullrun is already running in your face. If you think alts are useless go sell it, it's you own money by the way. But i believe it will be the very big regret of your life if you do so. To think that altcoins has no use why do you think there more and more ICO's are being soldout. Keep it in mind dude that BTC needs competitors in order to balance the market in order for the competition to exist.

And that serves as a lesson to all the new comers to endeavour to conduct research in a coins before you invest your capital and not just because of the hipe by the pump group. If your buying Alts and did not even care to check the background of the project. Then definitely it's not a good decision to invest or purchase it. Investing in Alts is very beneficial as long that you did your homework before doing it. There are a lot of potential to Alts as long as it is legit and feasible project.

yes, I agree with you This is not a fatal error, maybe just not the right moment. in such situations it is better to wait until the price increases again. do not assume that all altcoin sucks, because there are still altcoins that have good potential for the future. Jump to:
