there is no minimum or maximum amount in buying altcoins. My advise is if you are a begginer and just would like to test or try buying some altcoins start with an amount that you are comfortable loosing.
Very good advice. But first you need a positive experience. Try to guess the coin that will give you a profit. Good luck!

There's no ideal number. It's all depend on your resources, you can start trading or investing even with $10 or $100. The main thing here is never invest more than you can afford to lose. Especially, if you don't have enough knowledge and experience in crypto.

To start, fist think and learn what line are you want to be, trading ,investing or mining. there is no particular amount on how much you should start as "CAPITAL" The golden rule here is not to invest if can't afford to loose. you can also start here with nothing just put some time and effort and you can get some bucks to start up.

if you plan on short-term investing is better spent in large quantities. Unless you want to invest in the long term you can spend a small amount but periodically. But the decision it's up to you.

We are all different, and we all experience the risk, and volatility differently. For someone not handling stress too good, I would not recommend to enter this market, or at least do not invest too much, or wait fot the bulls Smiley
if wait till bull movement, i am worry it just bull trap.and maybe we could lose our money in market.sometime enter in bloody market could be best moment when all price cheap.

In my opinion, you should start with a small amount of money and for me $1000 is really enough to start trading altcoins and I'm confident that you can learn very well how to trade altcoins with that amount and off course having a good knowledge about altcoins is very important to start trading  Wink

No matter. Use your free money only. The best thing that i can say is to not to treat this as a gamble. whenever you invest you are risking some loss but it is definitely not a gamble. Since you should always base your decisions on a well grounded infomation to which you will invest in or to be more specific in choosing coins which you would like to buy. Good luck bro

There is a simple rule - do not invest more than you could lose. And better not more than 50% of this amount. Still, a lot of risks in the market scripts, and so at least will not be so annoying.

You dod not need a specific amount before you invest all you need first is to ensure that you are investing at the right time and you are investing what you can lose if it goes bad thats the rule of investing

start by learning about crypto and blockchain, get to know them more closely so that you will be more confident with that, if you are going to trade start with small assets that you can reach and if there is a risk of loss does not undermine your family's economy. be patient and learn the trends that you will gradually understand the patterns that occur in the market, then you will be able to determine the profit targets there

Start with an amount which you can easily afford without any panic. The cryptocurrency market is highly volatile. So there always required very deep study of project/ICO/Coin where you want to invest, before your invest there.

There is no minimum capital requirement, except you invest in an ICO, since the ICO will have a minimum investment of 0.1ETH, so I think this market will recover you on the altcoin purchase, increase again
$20 would be enough for an investment. If you are only wanting to see how it goes then invest with $5.

Now with how much money can be started, no one can speak. So I think we should not matter this issue, I think we should focus on analyzing and choosing the right potential coin.

Crypto is a risky investment and does not speculate on what you cannot afford to lose.

How much do i need to start trading altcoins. I would like to know what would be the ideal number.

Thanks!
Trading is not such a simple occupation as it seems at first glance. So I think if there is no experience in trading, then you can start with $ 100 that would not be a pity to lose!

It's depends of how much you can afford to lose  or hurt your financially. Even though we all hope to  earn high profit, the cryptocurency is a high volatile and we don't know what will happen tomorrow. For me,  I started with $ 50 so I could not raise much.v
