Why does gender play a role here ? Computer science is not hard labor engineering which does not negatively effect quality of life !
Women can adopt a lot of things and they are flexible so I think more and more women will get into cryptocurrency. There are also advisors in ICo who is women but there are few. Once crypto get mainstream more and more women will get involved here.
I have to agree with you on that. In a Testosterone fuelled world, the men likes to fight for dominance and to be the pack leader. They tend to brag and force opinion on matters in public and the women just stand back and leave them to fight their battles.
I have seen some strong women in our local Bitcoin meetups, but men just dominate the scene with their aggressive ways. This type of behaviour chase women away from these interactions and we are left with a Testosterone filled room in the end.
You would be amazed to know how many women are loaded with bitcoins, but just do not brag about it like men do. ^smile^
Bitcoin and cryptocurrency are completely different form of investment where it requires a person to read and work hard in order to study the ecosystem. There are so many risk involved with cryptocurrency investment while women are not good at handling risk. There are way to many ups and downs in the cryptocurrency industry that a lot of women cannot handle. I think some games are only made for men to play that is the reality. In this industry, both women and men have been simultaneously engaging themselves to a lot of activities. I don't think that there's a legit way to calculate the number of involvement of each gender.
Regardless of gender, every industry can be empowered and successful if its people are collaborating and uniting. Today, gender inequality and other issues should be put to an end and let every one of us be equal.

bitcoin has been used by both men and women simultaneously in this modern world.many women are now engaging themselves in the cryptoworld.in some cases they hide their identity and work silently.
Agreed. I just think this industry is male-dominated and the environment can be hostile. I see far too many men harassing women through the DM's. As this community grows, we have to be open to women and not belittle them. We are not in the 1600's anymore. They have just as an important role as men if not more.
Cryptocurrency does not depend on whether the user is male or female, but it is true that you say if it is currently dominated by men. If women can be more open minded and use their logic (mostly concerned with feeling) to learn about cryptocurrency, I'm sure they can also be successful. Well, this world is dominated by women, imagine if they also dominate cryptocurrency, surely the market will be more crowded. In this industry, I don't think that women are more than than men. And maybe you're right that some women here are just hiding their true identity through their username which is possible. But still, my suspicion is that maybe half of this community are women and then half are men. And I don't really believe some people saying why are there few women on bitcoin, because I think, men's and women's population here are almost equal.
Not many women deal with crypto-currencies, but I personally know a few. As practice shows, the results for women are lower than for men, but consistently stable. All because of the fact that women are less at risk. Men are more inclined to risk! 
Women have more patience not like men. When it comes in trading, women is careful from taking the risk not like men that has fast decision when taking the risk. Women can earn and knowledgeable in bitcoin like men. There is no discrimination when it comes to gender, we are all finding jobs that can give stable income.
Now we will meet more women in occupations that were once performed only by gentlemen. BTC has no limitations, you know the time spent on work. BTC is for everyone ...

I agree. There are plenty of opportunities in the cryptocurrency industry for men and women, and even older children and teenagers.

There is nothing stopping women to adopt bitcoin, bitcoin does not discriminate, anyone can enter in bitcoin or any other crypto, it does not matter if you are poor or if you are rich or the color of your skin, if you have a good idea then make it a reality if you do not then you can invest in crypto and try to improve your future that way. I really support if women can be involved in cryptocurrency, one of the reason is they can focus on taking care of their small children and can help the husband's economy because now the basic needs more expensive. What do you all think?

I am not assuming the gender but still yes Womens are equally good as mens and I have seen that woman's can take sometime better decisions than men because of there patient and professional behaviour. Of course if someone has done enough research about a specific situation can be equally good as them. I did not feel that only Womens are responsible for this you which market rise but mens has also equal market influence.

well gender is not an issue here in cryptocurrency, i have some women friends that are involve in cryptos. More important here is the effort and willing to spend more time. If they will conduct a survey about this, i will not be surprise if women is most involve in crypto that men.
I think gender is doesn't matter in cryptocurrency industry. Women can be success as men, the important thing is effort and consistency.

I think the same with you that women in the cryptocurrency could be more than what we realize here. As far as I know, there are no surveys that was conducted to gather this kind of information pertaining to demographics. That said, everything would be plainly assumptions. Anyhow, I don't see a problem with male or female involving themselves and investing in bitcoin. It's their time and money anyway.
