Every so often I run into an article that talks about how few women are involved in this industry compared to men. My suspicion is that there are more women involved than anyone realizes; they're just not putting their gender front and center.

What do you all think?

If there are really many women involved, it shows the power of electronic money.
With the age of men and women equal. Men can do it, women also do, especially the real money.

Society today has progressed and evolved in the comparative to the last century. A man was always in the charge and women were discriminated and there didn't have any rights. That could be also seen in the standard stock market where you couldn't see one woman that was bidding on the desired stock.

Today the rules have changed and this online crypto market is allowing the woman to invest in desired coins without even revealing their identity. Women are taking control slowly and we are not aware of it yet. We have all equal rights and I am glad that this market is influencing the gentle gender.

I am a woman and i'm a full time trader. For me gender is not a problem on crypto world. Anyone can join as long as you understand what crypto is. I know some women here in crypto especially here in forum and they are also very hard working. Gender shouldn't be an issue.

I think There's more women involved in cryptoworld than you could imagine, just like at any other businesses. It's not an issue at all since women can excel at any fields especially those that are supposed to be only for men like IT related issues. Nowadays, women can do almost everything so it's not surprising if most of the investors here are women.

Gender is not a barrier for Cryptocurrency world and nowadays more and more women are joining with this industry. It seems good. According to my knowledge involvement of women in Crypto industry is good due to the reason of spreading the word. I think women can spread the word of Bitcoin is more powerful when comparing to the men. Women can easily give the entire message to the people who do not know about Cryptocurrency. But i saw some of the women hides their identity from this industry but they do trade wisely same as men.

Women are challenged to join the fields that are assumed to be dominated by men. Every time I visit a website or look at a project, I usually look at their team and advisory board to see if there are any women. I am pleased to see that there are no projects that are only dominated by men.

On the assumption that women are more than men in the cryptocurrency space, I do not have any facts to back it up, but it is good to see a great number of them being involved in great projects.

This is the first occasion when I understand that sex is turning into an issue or subject in cryptographic money. I'm astonish about the article and never acknowledge it happened. Never the less, I think what ever the gender a financial specialist, dealer or client of crypto it won't influence the way individuals acknowledge and utilize it. Best of all, we could see that there are an ever increasing number of individuals are getting a handle on the energy of the sepulcher money and the blockchain innovation.

Statistics say men are more inclined to make risky investments; and I think there are more men in IT - it's neither good nor bad, it's just how it is. And of course it's difficult to count the perentage of women in crypto. But, does it really matter? Any man or woman is welcome here on bitcointalk and in the growing crypto world. Peace and love Grin

And why a woman can not participate in this area? She is the same person as a man. There is no difference. Tongue

It is quite possible that there are just as many women in the cryptocurrency world or even more who are just silent. It’s both amazing and impressive.

Bitcoin won't care about the gender. Anyone can invest in it as long as they know what they are dealing with. Honestly, I will be so amazed if I run into a woman who is interested in bitcoin. Normally men are more interested in bitcoin than women but few women's are just learning and gathering knowledge to get involved.

Yes women is good to be participate in this industry like bitcoin is good and open for all the people like it is not specific for the genders. Female are free at home they can do more than the male in this industry and bitcoin is the digital currency they can do shopping through this online currency so i think it is good to introduce and motivate female to the cryptocurrency industry.

I think there is no discrepancy of what gender would be in crypto.A women or a men was welcome to support cryptocurrency,as long they can help and benefit us and working by it.As long they are open minded and willing to earn ,i think women are more resourceful and creative.

Women are 35% more likely to live in poverty than men.

Two‐thirds of minimum wage earners are women. One in seven women lives below the poverty line. More than
half of all children below the poverty line live in families headed by women.

Women-owned businesses only account for 4% of all dollars lent to small businesses each year.

Female CEOs get only 3% of all venture capital.

If there is any place where women could ever hope for equal funding opportunity, it would be in the crypto world.

Please help and support these women. Please don't block their bitcointalk topics, reddit accounts, copycat their projects, hack their websites, hack their emails, leave bad comments, or do other things to block their projects. Please guide and support them instead. Above all, please help promote and fund their projects.

Women lead projects may not sound as grand as men lead projects, but are often more practical, and could be great for long term investments. Women's projects quite often focus on people, especially those who need help most, children, seniors and communities. The money invested in women lead projects may spread wide, last a long time, and generate abundant returns in time.

Agree, a lot of women are involved and interested in crypto currencies. I think it is not about men and women, every educated person who gets knowledge about coins might be involved. It is the are where people can get benefit, and both men and women are motivated to earn more.

Now a days many women's are involving in this crypto world. I also knew few women's who are good knowledge of crypto currencies. They work very hard and generates good income from here to fulfill her dreams and also her family dreams. Even they are more successful then men. But they don't want to come in open industry. That's why peoples don't realize how many women's are working in this crypto world.

although there are a few women in the cryptocurrency industry, I think if we check in the ico there are many women that getting involved in the cryptocurrency and they get a good position in the project. and besides that, I am sure that in the exchange, we can see that there will be many of them is women and they could make a profit too like what we did. and today, I think we are going to see that there are many women that will make a contribution to many projects.
