I believe that's one factor that holding them up, the gas supply from Russia. Many are still depending on Russia and they have no other immediate alternatives for now. Hence, even if there are sanctions from other countries, the neighboring countries are mum about the situation. We don't know when will this be over but definitely, both economic status of these countries are in bad situation and they need long years to recover from the aftermath of war.
That's what happened in neighboring countries. Instead of boycotting Russia by participating in providing sanctions, neighboring countries are helping Russia and there is no problem with Russia. As a result of war, it will take years to recover and it is not easy to overcome so various assistance is also needed from other countries.

I think we are going out of the topic as this is about Gambling in which not an economic topic mate so lets return to what we need to contribute here.

though talking about the OIL? this is the main problem now and so why the economy of the world is dumping.

Hm, not because the boycott here doesn't only in the gambling business but also in other businesses so I think it's still related to the boycott itself.

The boycott affects all businesses from Russia, but the impact is unlikely to be large as many of these countries still need Russia. So the real possibility is that those affected are countries that boycott and impose sanctions on Russia.

It seems that the boycotting of the russian gambling site doesn't have much effect since there is still an ongoing war in Ukraine I think the most funds they are getting is from oil and not just in gambling and as you can see even if there's a lot of sanctions they are still operating.  How long would this war last I hope this end soon.

I would support if for one thing that I would then have to support boycott of all aggressor countries, which by the way includes almost every single big country whose companies and citizens run casinos,,, so no in the end I will not boycott a casino just because it was Russian.

We will all be watching and betting on World Cup soon, are we boycotting it because the host is known for human rights abuses?

Russia has been doing this for many years like US - these powerful states have done more damage to the world than good. If they utilize their efforts toward REAL peace - than the world would be a better place to live in the real term rather than all the mess they have created in the name of peace.

I seldom comment on things like this but I can say one thing for sure,,, war is profitable. All wars are waged by governments yes but they are manufactured,,, produced,,, fought by corporations. Arms supply, arms trade, military training, transport, logistics, research and development, production. This is all companies with massive profits. Check defense budgets of all countries, millions and billions per contract paid to private contractors who by the way work for many governments even on both sides of war.

Until war stops being profitable,,, they will not stop.

It was a very big mistake of many European countries to become dependent on Russian gas and oil. They cannot resign from importing overnight, but the European Union has already introduced laws reducing imports from Russia. Russia will be losing customers and shortly will no longer have enough income to cover the cost of the war. We also, can limit tax revenues from Russian casinos by boycotting them. It may not be much, but if we can help shorten this war, why not do this?
Maybe it was a mistake but for now, European countries still cannot escape Russia and try to comply with Russia's wishes if they still want to get gas and oil supplies from Russia. I'm not sure if Russia will lose customers and have no income to cover the costs of the war because, if I'm not mistaken, China will stay behind Russia and send food supplies to Russia. But whether it's true or not, I don't know. I think the climax phase of the Ukraine-Russia war is over and now it is likely to be a sloping phase and there could be peaceful consolidation after this.

I completely agree. If the Russian government lifted the 15-year prison-sentence threat for anyone protesting the war, we would at the very least see half the country rise against Putin.  15 years in a Siberian Gulag is a tough pill to swallow for normal people, so therefore I am not going to betitle those who have been scared into silence as cowards.

The blind hatred towards Russians, especially those living in other countries is disgusting. This is how things escalate towards mass xenophobic genocides. Although we are not quite pushing Russians into gas chambers yet, I still don't like seeing innocent people beat up in the streets or having their cars lit on fire because they spoke russian in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Look at what some countries like Croatia are doing: taking away citizenship from Russians. So what, deport them into a warmongering country that they don't want to live in? Great idea, Croatia. Genius idea.
In today's world most of the people are well aware what are the after affects of the war. Russian are not free to protest but need of the time is to stop implementing force on the weak. On the other hand we daily see Israelis torturing Palestinians and there is no opposing. There is a need for equality and there is a need for tolerance. May we all see the dawn of peace Ameen
Well I still think that the sanctions that have been given to Russia are quite serious and I think they can greatly impoverish the Russian people, if President Putin at least put aside that war they have, things could be improved, I think the war has ended the lives of many people who depend on their businesses, on their clients who are Europeans, Americans, it is not only because of the boycott that can be generated, but the opportunities for people to grow are disintegrating, attacking a business model that has become Wherever it comes from it will bring consequences, the biggest and what hurts the most is that many people are left without a livelihood.

Although I believe sanctions on online services may not stick, I am still 100% ok with them.

Sanctions are indeed a weapon. The sanctions on North Korea had people starving to death, so I am thinking that this is going to do more damage than people realize.  But we can't let dictators do as they want in this world. Putin is the Zar of oligarchs. Not the Zar of Russia.

The world is now dealing with a cornered and scared dictator. Where in the world can he hide now? Now the entire world knows he is a criminal thug and has never been anything more.

The Soviet Union's collapse made the worst crooks the leaders of countries by law of violence and corruption. Look at Kazachstan, same deal. Crooks in power, stealing Billions from their own people.

It's a utopia, we've been dreaming of that happening.

But sad to say that even if we reach the highest point of peacekeeping, there will be some intruders and people in high powers that don't want to see it come.

Because they have an agenda to play on for their personal gain and interest. So no matter what we tell them about peace, they'll just ignore it.

There is no doubt that it was Russia who attacked Ukraine. It is Russian soldiers who are in Ukraine. Russia is to blame for people suffering. The only peaceful thing we can do is stop helping Russia by supporting its budget with taxes from the casinos. The more Russia is boycotted and sanctioned, the sooner it will end this war.
I don't think that will happen because we know that Russia has a lot of goods that other countries need and Russia's support for those goods for the world economy is huge. Just imagine what will happen if the boycott of Russia continues while many of those countries need goods from Russia, and it will have a big impact on those countries. But I believe that sooner or later, the war will end and for now, the people of both countries still need to be patient.

I wish the world see the other side as well and play a role in stopping war in other countries as well.
There is discrimination between white and black and there is so much hate spreading in the world on the name of pace and war. May we all witness the dawn of peace.
We all want peace.

But there are also those people in authority that don't want that to happen. Because if they want it so, they'll be the one to initiate it but they don't.

I think there is division in world to have peace - if there is no equality than this kind of war will continue.
Powerful will keep suppressing the weak countries. The sanctions won't work if the reins will be in powerful landlords.
And the same goes with the idea of ignoring businesses that are from there. It's possible that in the other side of the world, there's also this idea that they have in their minds.

The division has existed for a long time but we don't see it clearly because the big powers are very good at hiding it from the public. But now, the division is increasingly visible because each major country does not want to comply with the wishes of other countries. Maybe we will see a dark era because of this war and more people will suffer.

I also agree with you, I think both countries have suffered in their own way, of course the Ukrainians have had a more open, more visible suffering, within the Russian people there are disagreements and there must be many things that we do not even imagine could happen to them, no I know that it is better at the moment, on the one hand they are destroying Mairiúpol and they have not taken Kyiv, I think that the last city to take will be the CAPITAL, in some news I saw that the Ukrainians needed a lot of help so that they do not finish attacking them. For now, I think a Russian boycott would not only put an end to many entrepreneurial initiatives, but it would all be a very bad thing, unemployment figures would be very large.
I think Russia's boycott will impact Russia and other countries, even those far away from Russia, because they are still dependent on commodities from Russia. As we already know, Russia asks other countries that want to place orders for its goods to use the Ruble, which can trigger price volatility. Of course, this will impact the economy of each country.

There is no doubt that it was Russia who attacked Ukraine. It is Russian soldiers who are in Ukraine. Russia is to blame for people suffering. I have caught myself thinking, that I hardly can remember Russian gambling platform, that supports cryptocurrency. I am speaking about completely Russian platform, not a platform that supports Russian language and has a site weird machine translation. I remember only platforms that mainly support Russian rubles, and rarely EUR and USD. As a crypto forum, boycotting Russian rubles, that looks funny Cheesy
This thread is only for entertainment purposes which I think, cause how possible can this be achieved?

The question is, does using a Russian gambling platforms make Putin put on more aggression against Ukrainian goverment?
Does avoiding using gambling sites maybe linked to Russian citizens make the war end? I don't think so, so why are we so eaggered attacking gambling platforms that has nothing to do with the war?

We don't know the sentiments of the local Russians towards the businesses that are closing down.
As we can read, they have varied reactions, like the Mcdonald's, some are okay with the shutting down, some don't.
But let us contemplate on the fact that they are also people who want to survive in times of war.
Whatever their government is up to, they can't do much to influence the decision of their President.
But, I believe, a lot of their local businesses are also suffering owed to this war, and so their people.

The statistics (it is difficult to confirm them due to the propaganda and disinformation) show that 80% of Russians support Putin's policy. If, after companies such as McDonalds, Apple, VISA, Mastercard and many others have left Russia, the public does not understand that something is wrong, I am affraid that something bad is happening there. And probably it's not just the government's fault anymore, but maybe the mentality.

It's possible that in the other side of the world, there's also this idea that they have in their minds.

Therefore, the most severe sanctions should be imposed on an aggressor who starts wars. Russia should understand that the whole world refuses to attack other countries. If the world does nothing about it, some other countries may think that they can attack other countries without consequences.

The damage made by this war is so huge and there's no clear indication that this will stop soon as both of the country still fighting each other. Feel sorry for the citizens of both countries since they are the one who's been more affected on this and maybe next time they should know on which of those politician running for a set is really have a heart for their people and have strong intellectual power to decision on what's beneficial to his country and which is not.
It looks like the war will continue this year because, in terms of strength, Russia still has it and besides that, Russia has the support and assistance of its allied countries. Meanwhile, aid continues to flow from the Ukrainian side, especially food and health assistance. The Ukrainian people have suffered and the Russian people may have suffered because of sanctions from other countries. Both citizens suffer because the politicians fight for power to get more shares. Hopefully, there will be peace for both countries soon.

Considering the current events in Ukraine and the open aggression from Russia, what are your thoughts on the collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms in support of Ukraine?

We know that 1xBET and 1xBit are owned by Russians. Do you know any more? Could we make a list of all Russian-owned casinos?

I'd love to support an initiative to help Ukraine! I think it would be great if we all raised our voices together and supported it.

I fully support this boycott. Here is the list of russian betting sites that I know: 1Xbet, 1Xbit, Marathonbet, 22bet, Melbet, Planetofbets, Betwinner, Vulkanbet,  Betmaster.
I wish the world see the other side as well and play a role in stopping war in other countries as well.
