The sanctions are nothing to them.

They've already made their own rule for the countries that they're dealing with and it's in favor of them. So all of the people that boycotts them or not, they won't care.

You decide if all casinos based on Russia will be boycotted by you or you don't do anything as that doesn't concern you and they're just businesses that are residing there and as well as affected by the war.
Economic sanctions alone are not effective, let alone boycott gambling sites originating from Russia, it is even more ineffective.

sanctions will be effective if the country that is subject to sanctions, has weaknesses (depending on other countries) while so far the boycott and sanctions imposed on Russia are not effective at all because they know that foreign countries need their gas and oil.
Yeah, they're not even effective as it's just an idea.

And Russia, it doesn't seem to show any weakness despite all of the sanctions that has been placed upon them. Whether there's a huge crowd boycotting the chosen online casinos.

It won't be much of effect I guess as it's just a part of the whole that has been still standing despite all of those challenges they face.

When you plan to organize a boycott of some sites in a particular country, then, firstly, the inhabitants of this country will use such sites more and thereby compensate for its attendance.  Secondly, there are users on the territory of the opposition countries who, out of curiosity, will use these sites.
As a result, there will be no real boycott.
If there's one thing that seems really hard to do, it's not going to go back to something because boycotting is not something that is easy to try when it's hard to tell someone here  If you do not then you can do it yourself but I think it will be a little difficult to invite people but you can go from here but it will work with real time interval.

It is true. It also makes me wonder how long this will last because if you look at Russia's influence on other countries, it is clear that they need Russia because Russia has gas and oil. If the sanctions are still imposed on Russia, while the countries need gas and oil, it could also cause something.

Russia may be affected by the sanctions, but it will not last long because Russia looks pretty confident that other countries will support it. If there are no countries that need Russia and agree to boycott Russia together, maybe that will work.

The problem is that the politicians are gaining points whatever country they represent. The fact is that if the residents of EU, for instance, will have to pay twice or even thrice their current utility bill costs, they will ask some questions to their politicians. That's how it works. People in Europe, for instance, used to live in comfort for many years with as little as 0-2% yearly inflation, etc. Things may change and those changes may lead to some shift in opinion.

When speaking about boycott or something of this kind we should never forget that there are politicians and the others, I mean, politicians play their games, but others even businesses, they are on their own.

There have been some initiatives from a few countries in Europe, mainly UK and Germany have said that they will honor the contracts already signed for oil with Russia but they will look for alternative ways and all EU wants to find that greener energy which will remove their dependency from Russia. While sanctions may not work for the government of Russia surely they are devastating to the civilians of Russia as they already are starting to feel consequences,no one likes them anymore guilty or not,no dollar or euros can be used by them and the list will go on,everywhere they go they will be seen as some "unfriendly humans" that no one cares. They are already having troubles with payments as a friend of mine told me he was asked for help to exchange crypto here in our country for them in US dollars and to keep them for them,of course this was a big NO from my side and that is going to be the answer forever to any help request coming from them.

Casinos that are registered in Russia have to pay taxes on their earnings. Tax money goes into the Russian budget, and then this money supports the war, so it is somehow related to that war. The less money Russian casinos make, the less money there will be to prolong this war. The sooner it ends, the better, so boycotting Russian casinos is a good thing.
You have the same opinion with United State and several Europe country when talking about tax budget from casino gambling on Russia use for war invasion to Ukraine. I think is not true because all gambling casino platform never support with war invasion and they not have relationship with war. I think although have several casino gambling pay tax but not use for war invasion and as legal casino need to pay tax depend on country building.

Well said, I never supported the boycott of the Russian gambling platforms just like many Russians never supported the agenda of Putin to attack the Ukrainians. I think for their boycotting of the gambling platforms owns by Russian citicens is to compel Putin to stop his political agenda. I don't think this boycotting will have much effects on Putin's agenda.
The opinion is very right that many Russians don't want war to happen, but what happens in war is the will of the government and has nothing to do with civilians. So it's an unfair decision if we condemn everything about Russia including the gambling platform because the platform owner has absolutely nothing to do with war.

But do we really believe that they are really relying much specially on gambling industry? We dont know on how much they do made speaking of tax of this industry but its still a good initiative if we do really mean about

cutting off some sources of their funding specially on this war situation. It might not be that ethical on some areas or point but i do still agree with this initiative even though its not an assurance on stopping
the war but at least it do have some bit nor contribute on the possible effect which might really count as well.

Of course, boycotting the gambling industry itself will not stop the war. I don't think there is official information about how much money it is, but I don't think it is little amount. The boycott should affect as much of the economy as possible, as well as sanctions of other countries. Only when the entire Russian economy feels this painfully it will be possible to stop the killing of people. In my opinion, this is the only peaceful way to force Russia to end this war, and by boycotting Russian casinos, we can make little contribution to that.

Foreign minister Sergey Lavrov discloses Russia will not pause its offensive for, or during, any further talks with Ukraine.

Seems like they wont really be stopping anytime soon despite of sanctions and boycotting or other means.

They won't stop this war because Ukraine president ask more for more weapon to fight and this is not really good for a leader especially when you see so much suffering on your country. He should think more about his action and let his pride lower down because if he keeps his heads up then won't accept defeat then maybe this is the total reason on why this country destroyed. If Ukrainian president surrender and ask total freedom to Russia then promise to be neutral in all means for sure this war will be over.

Are you saying that the president of the country under attack can't ask for help? After all, he is asking for defensive weapons. There are Russian soldiers in his country, not Ukrainian soldiers in Russia. Why he have to surrend? Putin started this war and he should end it. Nobody else is to blame for this conflict, only Russia, and Russia will suffer the greatest consequences, because it is certain that they will lose this war.

I don't say that they shouldn't ask for help. What I'm trying to say is he should think more than twice if its really worth to risk the life of his citizen if they can't win this war anyways. They are the only one battling this and no country like USA help them send troops to combat Russia so I guess its total waste of human life if they still go war against big country like Russia. Asking for more weapons will just heat up more the conflict.

I think Putin was prepared for the fact that Russia would be subject to sanctions and he certainly secured himself for at least many months. Even if these sanctions make his life difficult in some way, they will surely not change anything in short time. Putin knows that all countries that buy gas and oil from him will not find new sources even within a few months, so nothing will change for now. However, in the long run, Russia will certainly lose a lot, because what is happening in Ukraine is huge costs for them.
Maybe or maybe not.

Because he thought that this war would only take a few days or weeks and now it's being prolonged because both of them doesn't want to give what each of them want.

The countries that are buying gas and oil from them could find another country to buy but it wouldn't be easier if it's coming from Russia just as before.

It seems that the current sanctions are not sufficient. They will have to be increased until Russia feels it painfully. We must also not forget that Russia has not told the truth even once since the beginning of the conflict, and it was to be expected that it would not end so easily. If Putin stopped the war, it would mean that he would give up, and he certainly will not do that. He simply have to lose, but Russia and its citizens because of him will suffer really bad in future. Let's hope Putin changes his mind as soon as possible.

Don't you consider Russian citizens to be human beings? They are also human beings, so why would they face this boycott, why would they suffer the consequences of political activities ?
I know this boycott will also speak out against Russian civilians, just as the Ukrainian civilians were persecuted. So I don't support the boycott ...
