Boycotting it forever well no since business owners is not the main responsible on the current chaos happening in Ukraine, but for meantime yes I will join the call towards giving sanctions on them and that is the only thing I can do since we don't have power to do other things and somehow it can make their leader think that they are not totally winning since they are slowly crumpled by getting more sanctions which can make their economy at more riskier situation.

In general, I understand what the majority of people here are saying. There is no doubt that civilians or Russian businesses are not directly responsible for any of this, and I am certainly not one who would say that. Yet virtually every country in the world is imposing sanctions against Russia as a whole. We can debate who brought Putin to power and who can take him down, but it doesn't matter at this point.

In truth, war stinks and the citizens of Ukraine are not responsible either, and yet they will suffer the most. Is that fair?

Imagine what would happen if we started going this way. If you had a friend who is Russian, would you stop talking to him? If you had an employee who comes from Russia, would you fire him? I hate what's being done and Putin should be put in prison or killed for ordering this massacre along with Lavrov, Peskov and the rest of his lap dogs, but Putin does not represent every single Russian.
If you have the means to stop it, like Russian parliament, and don't do it, you are responsible for these deaths. If you can't stop it, like 90% of citizens, you shouldn't be ostracized.

Facebook, Pornhub, and Google are supporting Ukraine and they are making it hard for their Russian clients to access use the ads
but it's not Putin's government that will benefit from using their service it's the private citizen, these are after all citizens that don't have a say on what Putin is doing right now, in fact, many Russians are against it and are protesting the ongoing aggressions.
I don't have an account on a known Russian gambling platform, and I don't think I can play on 1XBIT it's risky playing there.

One one hand yes, because we all want to show solidarity. On the other hand no, because these people did not have any influence over Putin's decisions. Even soldiers who are fighting now had little to say.
Many were tricked and thought they were going out to train near the border and then one day the order came to cross it and go deeper into Ukraine. What could they do? Jump out of a moving tank saying I'm not going?

I feel like we should boycott all companies related to the Russian State. All their politicians, news outlets, banks, airlines, but not people who want to make a living and could be against this war.

Considering the current events in Ukraine and the open aggression from Russia, what are your thoughts on the collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms in support of Ukraine?

We know that 1xBET and 1xBit are owned by Russians. Do you know any more? Could we make a list of all Russian-owned casinos?

I'd love to support an initiative to help Ukraine! I think it would be great if we all raised our voices together and supported it.

I don't think they should be included its Putin administration and not the citizen's decision to wage a war on Ukraine they should not be part of our hate, in fact, many Russians are protesting Putin's decision and on 1XBIT and 1XBET even if they are not Russian owned I don't think I will play here because of what they are doing to their players they are proven, scammers.

I might say no to this considering some facts which other members have already stated here, not everyone in Russia is actually in support of the war against Ukraine, and several of this people have there private livelihood which is their businesses.
@Op, now, imagine yourself a Russian who owns a business and you are fully not on support of fight against Ukraine, Infact, you've left your business for many days to protest against the war, but only for you to come back and discover your business has been boycotted by the international community because of something you know nothing about, imagine the heartbreak you did feel.

So, honestly, I don't think this is good idea, it can only work if we know the Russian citizens who are in support of the war, then we can easily pick out those ones and boycott every of their business and if possible, make life miserable for them in our own little ways, but doing this generally, to me would be a big mistake.

Not a blanket boycott. That's extremely harsh on the citizens.

I don't play on 1xbit or 1xbet not because it's owned by Russians but because of the unresolved scam accusations.

The way everyone is sanctioning things in Russia, it seems there are no one living in Russia that the 144.1 million people are not human LOL

Imagine from the point of a Russian Civilian who is not supporting the war in Ukraine, who wants peace dialog and want to see the brotherhood between these two county. But just because he is a Russian now he can not visit an EU county or in a state of America , he can not have assets in these regions, he can not conduct any business at all, his assets are being seized . He has no right in those countries. Or may be he is in any of these countries living for long time. From now on his life will be a harder. The Russian military is killing innocent civilians but the rest of the word is making Russian civilians life a misery.

What are we achieving from this WAR?

I don't know but these unnecessary bans on businesses or platforms owned by Russians looks like a hostage situation to me. They want the citizens to turn against their Government and force them to stop the attacks.

1xBet and 1xBit already consider here as a scam site, so technically gamblers are not into this platform well at least those who are here in the forum, they can’t fool people here.

Boycotting something from Russia is fine as long as you believe that they deserve it, though I’m not into Russian gambling site since its very rare to hear good projects from them but if ever, I’m willing to boycott it even if I’m not a big time gambler because I know it can still affect them.

PS: This is not an statement in favor of 1xBET and 1xBit . These scammers should not be existed in the first place.
Well said.
I would boycott those scam casinos instead. I don't know any other Russian-based casinos but it's not all about boycotting that's everything with them.
What if those legitimate and good casinos that are based from there are just the typical businesses that would surely be hit and affected if such a plan had been executed. Well, I'm not a technical expert on this but there really are a lot of consequences that will happen.

If we plan to boycott everything out of Russia, then it'll surely make some impact on Russia's economy. Same time we need to think, afterall these are all businesses owned by Russians. Only a small population of Russians are into making war whereas the majority are against the war and are protesting against the government. So, what we do could affect everyone for the mistake from a small group.
