I would like to report that for my account activities all seems to be back to normal.

In the last 16 hours, I have been successfully able to:
- deposit and withdraw btc
- received emails without any delays regarding deposits/withdrawals
- an international wire transfer (withdrawal USD) requested today, moved from status "Waiting for processing" to "Finished" in less than 3 hours

The only thing that is not correct yet is the listing for the fee and the listed usd volume amount, but that is no problem, because Hazek has answered to that concern here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.3652673.

Just a report for my situation.

I hope that the issues for everybody else are also solved soon !!!

Commission rate changed to maximum 0.50% and ignore new trades.

Does anyone have a similar problem?

Dear Hazek,

I submitted a support ticket since about 30 hours ago but not yet a single word from Bitstamp as we speak.

I use Astropay on a daily basis and I've been able to purchase HUGE AMOUNTS of bitcoin.. Enough to tell you than the system works absolutely fine and fast. But in the yesterday event when bistamp crashed, I had an ongoing transaction of 400 USD, and when ASTROPAY was returning successfully from my online banking to reach Bitstamp's Astropay API page to credit the fund, it just simply showed a page stating the information below and my funds were not credited!!

I have uploaded screenshots on the ticket but since it has about 30 hours I'm becoming worried of when would you release those funds to me. I'm NOT FUNDING any more (but I really needed to) just because I fear I could complicate things even more if I do.

I have already sent email to astropay with the same screens including order ID and probably they might also have tried to reach you internally to inform you some way that that token's been paid.

for wire transfer's my credit union uses a "intermediary bank"... but it is not in the form.    Does that matter?

Yes it does. With credit unions usually you need to enter the intermediary bank as the bank and the credit union as the beneficiary, you need to enter the credit union's bank account number at the intermediary bank as the IBAN/account number and the intermediary's SWIFT code and then in further instructions you need to enter "FFC your name, account number your_number"

Confirmed. Commission fees are correct even when it shows 0.5% commission rate on account balance page.

Confirmed as well. There's still a slight issue where the site calculates the maximum size of your order based on the incorrect fee-rate. In my case, I placed a market buy with all my available funds, and it correctly applied my 0.4% commission rather than the displayed 0.5%. However, it left me with ~0.1% of my funds, since it computed the size of the order based on the 0.5% fee.

This is a minor issue, but it can be a bit annoying for people that want to fully empty their account (and keep it empty).

What's up with the broken commission fees? Are you going to compensate the trading fee loss back to customers? What's the deal with huge lag when cancelling open orders?

Also, just an FYI to anyone doing wires to USA - there appears to be a consistent "intermediary bank" wire charge of $27.  I've done 2 withdrawals in the past month and both were hit with that fee, and I've confirmed it is on on my bank's end.

He already explained it:

The fee has been reset and is now being recalculated which takes 2 seconds per every user(after maintenance server has to re-calculate the last 30days of trading for every user).

While the fee may not be correctly displayed the correct fee is applied when trading. This can be confirmed in your transaction's log.

I haven't verified that the correct fee is actually applied, since I already emptied my account.

This, both my BTC and my USD 30 day history says 0, so my commission is .5% instead of .2%...

I did cash out about 20 BTC and all went pretty instantly.
Also the mail for this cashout came instantly and also changed very fast to status: Finished:

problem is solved now.
I have experienced that Blockchain sometimes does not show the transaction before it has been included in a block.

Submitted a bank wire one week ago

Called the bank today and confirmed bitstamp's bank received the funds

Now I am waiting to see when my bitstamp account will be credited

My account finally got funded!
Would you care to share the details of the transaction with us? When you sent it, from where and how big the amount was so we other folks know what to expect.
