It makes no sense to do a takeover. The attraction is not in the wallet or name but in the IP behind it. A takeover will just produce a coin and a working chain and that is it.
Best to sit back and relax and see if anything comes from this in the future.
I agree 100% That offer was just a publicity stunt for moneypot.
The offer from MP was real. The issue is those behind the site (the ones that are not giving updates or anything) are refusing to let go of the site unless they're paid off. Keep in mind this is on top of their ICO earnings. It just doesn't make sense to pay someone MORE money (when they are already refusing to do what they agreed to) in order to make things right.
Moreover, it doesn't make sense for us to pay them a large sum and then pay profit share and such to token holders when we could easily develop our own version in house and keep 100% of the profit (note: we do not intend on developing an e-gaming betting platform for the foreseeable). future

Not a publicity stunt. I've had a couple discussions with people involved in the site, at the moment it doesn't look like we are getting closer to a deal, basically they want to be paid a pretty penny, and MoneyPot would get none of the development fund. In any case, we would only be interested in the deal if it included the IP behind it.
so you have been in recent contact with gamebet devs?
Yes and no. Only through third party mediators, not directly in touch.
