Just saw it. 28 BTC for about 15 million Crypti. Someone is selling big at quite a good price (0.00001845) given the IPO genesis price was 0.0000085).

Big sell.

One of the traders has been messing about for over an hour, setting really low or really high buy orders and sale orders in an effort to manipulate the market. I suspect they were using trading software because when I pitched buy orders just one satoshi below their sale orders, their software would not allow them to trade against themselves (that is, it no longer allowed them to pitch a buy order one point higher than mine, and this happened about 20 times)

And you know that how? Because the hacker said so? I don't think so. Each side came out with their own story about what happened and the truth is probably some where in the middle. The hacker would be of the mindset to exaggerate and brag while Bter would be trying to save face.

Bter never denied the hacker claim and admitted it they were using same password everywhere. Where do you see Bter denial?

All I saw was Bter posting that one of their hosting accounts didn't have 2FA and the hacker got in there. Should Bter have posted a denial? What purpose would that have served since they came right out at the start and said they were hacked and where he got in.

Where does Bter say they used the same password everywhere? I didn't see that but there were so many posts maybe I missed it.

My point though is that we can't believe either side entirely and so shouldn't be talking about things as if they are fact when we don't know (and probably never will) what the real facts are.

Do you have any plan to list Crypti to other exchange? I don't trust Bter any more, I worry my Crypti in Bter.

Yes, we are working on this at the moment.

We will announce once we integrated with additional exchange.

don't forget about btc38 they showed interest on the 8th

welcome to btc38.com.

hitbtc would be nice as well
https://hitbtc.com/vote

Hitbtc takes years for integration. The user Btc38.com is likely not the exchange.

I would say Bittrex or Poloniex. Both showed in the past, that they can integrate 2.0 coins.

Oh did it take a long time for hitbtc to integrate NXT? I see they added them on the 8th

Yes, it took them since Bitcoin2014 (May).

I don't try to counter these spam/flame messages here. I still want to buy cheap. Smiley

I feel there will be a big run up in price with all those panic sellers trying to get back in as it looks like things took a turn for the best.

Looking at the charts I think there will most likely be some panic buys once we'll hear some good announcements from the dev team.

Anyway, hopefully this spectacle will be over soon and cryti will be able to move forward as planned.

I would like to be as optimistic as you but unfortunatelly I can't be.
Probably most people are trying to get out of this coin and minimise their loses. This one burned their hands before it was even launched. Bad coincidence with BTER and failed launch = trust lost forever. I am actually quite mad at myself that I took a gamble and invested into this

I agree with you to some extent.
It is a pity it can't launch as planned.

The owner was using the same password for 90% of his logins

And you know that how? Because the hacker said so? I don't think so. Each side came out with their own story about what happened and the truth is probably some where in the middle. The hacker would be of the mindset to exaggerate and brag while Bter would be trying to save face.

Here's an interesting question for people.  Which do you think is "safer".  Working with an exchange that's been hacked and has improved their security, or one that has "never" been hacked? Cause you have to know that there are hackers out there trying to get into all of them.

Hacker already returned more than 40 million Nxt to bter.

So Bter nightmare is over. At the very worst they can cover the rest. Though the remaining 8 million even at this depressed price rate is worth over 500 BTC. Plus Bter lost all credibility -- as their security was ridiculously bad. The owner was using the same password for 90% of his logins

To make up for some of the credibility issue, after they have dealt with the hacker they should just focus on helping Crypti launch as soon as possible. Beyond the launch it will be smart not to be dependent on a single exchange, especially bter.

@SyRenity, do you have a plan to set a high security when withdrawing thounds of coin , avoid some things like NXT hacker ?

As we suggested before, we strongly recommend enabling the second pass phrase.
This will ensure that even if someone breaks into your account, he still will need the second pass phrase to get any funds (think of it as a pin code for lost ATM card).
The second pass phrase can be as long as needed, and naturally should be stored in a separate location than your account password (as you wouldn't store pin code with the ATM card).

Two passwords do not add security. Two passwords are equal to one longer password.

the launch is Sunday or Monday? If all goes well

They said that if Bter works on it Sunday (as they said they would), then it would be Monday. Course that assumes everything goes smoothly. Bter has bigger issues to deal with right now.

At this point almost 1/2 the stolen NXT has been returned to BTER. Let's hope it's all returned soon and they can put this behind them and focus on the XCR launch.

edit: 30 million of the 50 has been returned thus far.

Only less than 10 mil left wow. Good payday guaranteed for the thief.
