We need an XC decentralised kickstarter app, (kinda like lighthouse)  Grin

I'd say first a decentralized exchange, then file storage, then the kickstarter app.

I agree:

Haha! Im gonna save that pic for future releases.

Man, I feel so impatient! I can't wait to see all this come to fruition!!!!

Yeah I didn't mean straight away, just another idea to add to the huge list of potential ideas.

Then again, perhaps if we did the decentralized kickstarter first, we could then crowdfund for more coders etc to get working on the other apps!  Tongue

Thanks dude I will post there.

I already consider my money there is gone. Probally 4 ish btc. Fuck them

Sorry to hear that, I lost no funds but I was still annoyed about their approach especially this:

thanks for all the fish

where did he post this?

and according to this coindesk articel http://www.coindesk.com/moolah-mintpal-closure-bankruptcy/

“What saddens me the most is that Moolah took their funding from random Internet-goers as
opposed to rich venture capitalists who can afford to take the risk and financial hit. These ‘investors’
are now in a position where they’ll never see their money again, and have minimal legal recourse.”

I don't get why people invest in companies like this, but i have to admit i don't
get why people invest in kickstarter campains as the people behind
minecraft and oculus rift for example got funded and sold the companies
for some billions afterwards and people that invested get nothing.

The blog has been edited since then but it was originally there yesterday. My twitter about it: https://twitter.com/DrasticRaven/status/522151859608625152 .

Also in kickstarter you aren't investing, you are simply buying a product and that's it. Oh and minecraft never went on Kickstarter.

I was wrong it was just a documentary about it:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2pp/minecraft-the-story-of-mojang

I know how kickstarter works, but i still think, without the early investors there would be no company and therefore i think this investors should get money back.
If the project fails you also loose all your money. So you don't just buy something, you invest imo

Kickstarter doesn't involve investing in the traditional sense. People just put money toward projects they'd like to see come to fruition. The "payoff" is the product actually coming to market, not financial incentives.  Kickstarter campaigns also help in the assessment of market size and interest.

i understand what you mean, but the idea to sponsor a project and get no returns than a prototype that is full of bugs is no motivation for me to invest in a project.

i think crowdinvesting is the only way i would go

funny moolah isn't dead and someone gives them money. it seems there are a lot of braindead people out there with pockets full of money

http://blog.moolah.io/2014/10/15/the-reports-of-my-death-have-been-greatly-exaggerated/

I seriously hope noone uses any of their services.

The guys there are so cack-handed it's embarrassing to the whole crypto community. e.g. a post saying
"reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated" would be OK if you weren't the one that had reported in a
post 24 hours earlier that you were dead!! I wish they would just disappear.
