Blockchain is still same

It's because your wallet.dat is stored in a different location to the app. The new version just picked up the same old wallet.dat and used it.

Agreed some things don't happen as we expect but what the team has achieved in such a short time is phenomenal.

I'd like to thank TEKA, DAN, SYNECHIST for all their hard work and effort - staying up nearly 24 hours is no small feat.

Im not going to go into the rights and wrongs, there probably were a few things that could have been done differently, that is water under the bridge now...

The facts are though, as far as I see them

1. We are leading the crypto revolution, we have ground breaking tech and a team capable of handling it.
2. We have a support and dev team who are 100% committed, they are burning the midnight hours and putting everything into this.

On that basis im happy to cut slack here and there, you get this when you are managing a project like this, nothing ever quite fits neatly in the box first time round, but the point is the team are trying so hard to do it and they will do it...

Wow, downloaded wallet, extracted to new folder, opened app and there already was all my coins. How could that happened? I thought I would need to copy my dll. files to new directory or something.

I'm glad that things are getting sorted out. I guess that we will make a slow recovery from now on. Thank you all for the updates. I will probably invest more below 200k sat now. I understand that you will considerate all things that have been said here, to avoid future mistakes like this. Happy trading folks!

I bought many XC this morning and now i consider to stake them. But i am also not sure what will happen with xc price. So i would like to let em on exchange.

Somebody can tell me how much Xc profit u make for staking 2010XC in a day?
Haven t found a formula to calculate or some experiences

I understand the crunch-time circumstances, and my curiosity is certainly piqued by what Dan and you all are working on here. I wish you all well, and hope you take the PGP/checksum request to heart, as it will instill quite a bit more confidence in downloading the wallet client for more technically-oriented users.

REV 2 is huge deal if every wallet is XNODE. and you guys did not make it clear.

Agreed. This was an exceptional circumstance; Dan hadn't slept in about 3 days and we just wanted to prove that trustless mixing is real.

The current release will very soon be replaced by an update. Checksums and PGP are no problem in future.

Synechist and XC team, please, for the love of god, do not push any more releases without a PGP key signing off on them from atcsecure, as well as corresponding checksums. This is a community of generally tech-savvy individuals, and that kind of release scheme is never going to pass muster for people really into the technology.

Who thought it was a good idea to push an executable file for the big launch, on an obscure IP address? (well, obscure to anyone randomly looking -- although it appears to be the old web server for xc official)

I havent read up the entire rev2 debate, but my confidence is great with the team and how everything is dealt with.

Xnode support in all clients? Wow! Very nice! Again releasing something better then promised.

People should realize that rev 3 is the real release and will have a nice GUI interface and working mainnet.
Thus far we could only send 10xc max anon, but everyone was exited to see it worked!

Still exited, and still confident.. In for the long haul!

Keep it up, and take it easy, there is massive and confident support for your work!

If some people want to convince me to loose my  faith for an annoncement coming 2 hours late it's not working at all because it's not logical.

As everybody i would love to have a perfect finished product working directly on mainet but if it induce to take a risk of fork or huge bugs  i prefer to take the safe road and test progressively the  release on testnet.  I think our team is acting wisely and professionally here, can we blame them?

Some people think it's a fail because anon button and state of stacking haven't been implemented yet. Do you think it is the most difficult thing to program ? it sound like when the first airplane have been invented you complain about the fact it's not already confortable. => Our team focus on groundbreaking technollogy and don't try to deceive us with some functionality that aren't really essential at the actual state of devellopment.
Would you prefer to have some nice buttons and indicators or the best technollogy available on the market?

Now, we have some news coming today and tomorrow, our new 100% decentralized trustless mixer will be tested and wallet updated progressively to have a perfect working product on mainet next few days.

Investing in XC during the development will always be an adventure, our team create the furtur, thing that  have never been possible before, it could change the world. If you don't want to take some risk, if you don't want to be patient then just wait the perfect final product before you invest your money, the price will be 100 or 1k time higher but you will be safe and you have nothing to complain about.

I believe XC could change our society, give back the financial power from bank to citizen. I'm looking at  the big picture and i don't care at all about 2hours late release or some missing button to click on, i just want to see the technollogy improve to the point where we will have the opportunity for the first time in modern history to live in a world with annonimity and financial freedom.

I will let you judge my work as you wish, and I'll respect those judgements. However I disagree.

I can picture exactly how it was. You delay the launch, confidence falls, you release it in a state your not happy with, confidence falls. Lose, lose.

I'm sure it will recover when full documentation of what has been implemented and how it works is released. My advice, which you are free to take or totally ignore is, just make sure it is really clear and really well presented with good technical info. A small wait will do less damage to price than a half assed document
