Stellar seemed to me as a nice project with a good future. But now I saw that ridiculous airdrop with video KYC Grin
For me it discredits the project and from side seems funny.
what is your opinion?

The airdrop is legit because I do too undergone kyc at blockchain.com site. I know it's hard to believe but I already received my coins., And most of my co friends do receive their tokens too.

actually what is the problem of airdrop with kyc. kyc is a way of devteam a project so as not to reward the same person in airdrop. is that true? then what's the problem with the same person having multiple accounts

Point is that they get user data for free. Too much users send documents, photo and video, but have "Under review" status.
In this case, there is no sense Stellar and blockchain.com give drop such users, they got what they wanted.

IT's not a joke, indeed it's a big deal for Blockchain.com because they buy each person full identity with image and video with only $25 worth XLM. Personal information and passport/ID card image is very important, it's related to our life and finance, i didn't join this airdrop.

When the news about Airdrop XLM spread, I tried to register my e-mail for the airdrop but I didn't do KYC whether it was all right or just bullshit because until now I haven't opened it again whether I get the token or not because for me it's airdrop right with a value of $ 25 then it's one of the legit airdrop

But the fact is that many people can get xlm with the airdrop and that is true. today many people in the country have not yet received their money. maybe because of delay and too many requests

Yes, this is one of the largest airdrops, I passed the KYC, when only need a selfie. I think they introduced the  video KYC because too many people tried to participate in airdrop using their documents and photos several times.

XLM airdrop is very good for providing information and recognition of XLM coins and also with Airdrop XLM can be used to assess how many people are enthusiastic about XLM.

It is legit. I have a doubt at first, but when I try to register at blockchain wallet and fulfill the kyc (blockchain wallet is legit so I pursue on doing KYC) I have receive an email confirmation and my entries on my verified blockchain wallet, and I have receive the airdop of stellar coins.

Why do you consider it as a joke. I've already received mine 25$. The truth is hat you could pass it without video KYC,but they improved conditions for airdrop. I think it is a great sigh for mass adoption.
Stellar will get a wide database of users and it push crypto sphere

I don't see such generosity is nothing wrong with that. The only negative factor that may appear is the depreciation of the coins, but it will last he should not last long. On the other hand, more and more users will be able to get this coin and it will become more common in the crypto community.

I think this is not a good deal for Blockchain.com wallet users. They should be asking for more than USD 25 to let them attach their identity to years of bitcoin transaction history. But on the other hand the Stellar holders seem to be really happy about this airdrop, calling it a great way to distribute ownership.

Just trying to get rid of scams. However, I do not like KYC at all. And here the situation is also with the video call. I think I will not lose much if I do not take part.

It is absolutely legit and one of the most transparent airdrop processes in this industry. Firstly, it is just a form of reward that blockchain.com introduced to further expand the reach of their services as well as further boost the public awareness of the XLM project. It is a marketing strategy and a win-win situation for everyone involved. A free 25usd giveaway for doing absolutely nothing is good enough for everyone. Also, I have seen people cashing in on this offer and converting or exchanging it to btc. Go and get yours if you haven't.

I think it's legit however, my KYC is still pending for 2 weeks now and under review. Knowing thousands of participants joined the Airdrop and it must take long for my KYC to be verified.

This is not a joke, the development team created this distribution to increase transactions in the network after a new update of the protocols.
