Video kyc is ridiculous, i don't see why any country needs such strict standards. Some require a selfie with the ID card, and even that is extreme. It's not like they are offering thousands of dollars. I will not participate with such strict kyc requirements

Would I sell my identity to a company I know only wants to make profit? Maybe for a lot of money, maybe. But not $25 and not for XLM. I think less on Lumens for partnering with them like this, I don't know it feels bad to me.

My grandma and grandpa will join and register this XLM airdrop and will make the verification because $25 is a big money for retired people in Russia, unfortunately. Russia has a low standard of living out of Moscow now.

I think this is a sales strategy. As we know, currently the market price is can't possible to enter. For this reason, coin developers have to turn their brains to survive in the market.

I've heard this airdrop yesterday from telegram channel, I though it's just a scam, so I don't have click the link, look like it's a big airdrop, but each person only get 100 XLM ($25) and we need to pass the kyc application, do you think it's really worth it?
Stellar seemed to me as a nice project with a good future. But now I saw that ridiculous airdrop with video KYC 
For me it discredits the project and from side seems funny.

Well, if someone actually wants to do a kyc for 25 dollars, then I don't even know why they're in crypto. It's a great way to distinguish between the people who understand what's happening in crypto world and why we need it and the people who are clueless and here just for the bandwagon. I had an opinion about stellar that it's better than ripple, but this made me question my beliefs. Get that garbage out of here... For me it discredits the project and from side seems funny.

irstly, it is not Stellar who conducts an airdrop, but a blockchain wallet. They just hand out this coin. Secondly, this is their decision, and it’s clear that they don’t have to see multi-accounts in their airdrop.

It's not a real airdrop. They are just buying information. A lot of companies do this, for example, N26, Revolut gave free $$ if u signed up and did KYC. In my optinion it's not worth selling your data for $25 worth of XLM.

I received an offer like this from blockchain.com seems legit though I lost some XLM when I sent to one exchange but forgot to fill the memo because I have no idea what to choose and it did not arrive on that exchange and this is because of the memo issue, any similar incidents like this, anyway it's just $10 worth of XLM.
I once had similar experience when i wanted to send my XLM to OTCBTC. It was a painful experience, because that was all o had at that time. I expected it to arrive on the exchange, by it was all like a dream. After several hours of waiting, i had to contact the admin and i was told i did not fill in the memo ID to accompany my transaction. I as given an option of paying some charges, but the funny thing was that, what i sent there was not even upto the charges. So, that was how i lost it.I also recieved a mail from blockchain, so the airdrop is legit.
Yesterday in a telegram group there was a conversation about this, for the first time i heard that airdrob. XLM is one of my favorite coins but i never do KYC for an airdrop.

I see this airdrop not like airdrop but like "Sell your KYC now for $25 in XLM someday in the future". I wonder how many fools would fall for that? Is this a census of idiots?
It is easier to just ignore this kind of way. Many of us hated that KYC procedure because it makes us vulneravle to attacks.
Better just let it go. Stop being greedy for money just because they are saying it is a million dollar worth of coin.

Next step - we will have to take our documents and go to their office and sign documents to use their blockchain)

Perhaps this is necessary in order to weed out the cheaters. But i think people who have never heard about cryptocurrency will not do a KYC...
I see nothing funny about it. they just want the intruders not to get their coins for free and in a thunderous amount

This is a good project and they are creating the largest airdrop in the history of crypto. And of course KYC is needed to avoid the cheater, you are here to say that XLM is a bullshit project. This procedure is not required. Only those who want to take part in airdrop. For those who are not interested can still use their Blockchain Wallet without verifying.
