Hi Monero fans,

there are some news about OpenBazaar here. We discussed its importance for Monero for a long time, also with MEW group https://forum.monero.cc/17/projects/113/openbazaar

From words to action, I suggest some active plan to all interested in Monero
https://forum.monero.cc/8/funding-required/128/openbazaar-pro-with-monero-support

I'm curious about your feedback

It's been a long time since I could access the forums. I just get the message "Whoops, looks like something went wrong."

I see now, it's bug on forum, I'll report it to David

Hi everyone,

I'm testing out my pool. Can any of you point some miners to my pool -

www.monerosprings.com

Just want to test the load balancing on the server. I also have a backup in place and want to see if it can handle a some sort of catastrophe (server going down, frozen, etc...)

Example:

minerd -a cryptonight -o stratum+tcp://akula2.ddns.net: -u YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS -p x

Thanks for your help!!!  Smiley

I have been self-teaching with some Codecademy lessons and as my first project I want to make a Monero price calculator site kind of like Preev.com but with 3 columns that would allow you to enter in XMR, BTC, and USD values and convert.

First thing I am trying to figure out is how to use the Poloniex API...does anyone have some examples on using autobahn that I can look at?

I feel like I can figure this out but I am just complaining here while I learn  Huh

i have a working polo lib i use for my bot...
feel free to try or contact me if you need some help: https://github.com/flower1024/nodejs-Poloniex-Api/blob/master/exchanges/poloniex.js

No, thank you. Organic rise only.

Read this post by jehst. I don't know much what to think of it (cognitive dissonance, sound theory?) but at least it is worth reading.

.05???   Grin I would shit my pants with joy!!! Or to make room for all the XMR I'm gonna eat.

This has potential:  http://test.casheer.net/mission/

No one has posted anything in their forums about Monero that I can find under the thread "Post your Cryptocurrency"  http://forum.casheer.net/viewforum.php?f=15&start=100

I'm not the one to do this as I'm new to all this, I understand enough to sound like an idiot if I did.  I do hope to see more marketing effort behind Monero once the Dev's finish their work and a stable GUI is released.

Perhaps someone in the community could post something to help spread the Monero buzz.

Is it possible to join the Slack group?
There is no Slack group for Monero. Maybe you confused with the Slack group for HyperStake, which is completely unrelated to Monero.

Ah ok why not create one?

I don't know if this will help, but sometimes my executables end up in a /bin directory.

are your wallet files backed up on a USB key? And you should be able to rebuild your wallet based on the mnemonic seed, right? Even for your original wallet.

I have them backed up on a USB key, but I've tried 2 different Linux systems and hardware and neither of them can be opened it seems.
I'm going to try Windows next as it's the only thing I can think of.
