Can someone help me with the wallet I am stuck on 208393...just tried downloading newest version still stuck on it

As far as I know they might be loading the same block chain from my roaming folder...

I think maybe you got on the wrong fork with an old version, and then updated. Not 100% sure, but I think you might want to just wipe everything in your data directory, and then download the latest bootstrap blockchain and put it in there.

So just delete the stuff in my roaming folder and put the bootstrap in there? yeah i think you're right about the forking thing

Yea, if you use default directory it's C:\Users\youruser\AppData\Roaming\bitmonero; just delete (or move) everything out and replace it with the latest bootstrap, and sync from there.

If you are using the current code for the daemon it won't let you load a blockchain from the wrong fork.

OK, thanks David and smooth.

I am doing that now, starting with the script.

I had actually already done that, I thought.  Oh well, try, try again... Smiley

problem?

You have to paste the 12 word seed there - not some random password or whatever u wanted there, its just to make sure that u noted down your electrum style seed.
You get that seed on the beginning of the page, just scroll up Wink

correct screen look like this

i noticed on win8.1/ie11, the 12 13 words seed weren't correctly displayed     [edit] 13 words, not 12

Monero Core Team
sudo apt-get install cmake
You need to install all the dependencies that way. I think you can do something like apt-get install build-essential and get a lot of basic stuff at once.
I suggest you start by installing the "old monero" with Quanttek's install script. It will take care of the foundation
Code:
cd ~ && rm -f install_monero.sh && wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Quanttek/install_monero/master/install_monero.sh && bash install_monero.sh
THEN you follow the instructions on join for testing

OK, I have made it past the previous issue with getting the DB-blockchain going. Smiley

But, I am now stuck at step 3: Compile

Here is the command and error output:

Code:
dee@DDZdebian:~/bitmonero$ make
mkdir -p build/release
cd build/release && cmake -D CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release ../..
/bin/sh: 1: cmake: not found
make: *** [cmake-release] Error 127

I changed all three of the /home/user entries in the blockchain-converter.cpp file.

Any help?

(I am guessing that I don't have Cmake installed, hence the problem(?)

You guys tricked me!  I went to MyMonero and clicked on "Create Account" to see what the process was.  That was the process.  I now have an account.  Not that I want or need one right now.  It is a way of giving somebody Monero by funding it and giving them the account.  They can transfer it to another account if they want.

Clean interface. Good work. Is there a reason I can't specify a mixin greater than 4?

Also, maybe the Payment ID field should be labelled "(optional)"
