Big thanks to Rpietila and to the Monero team for making this happen.

If your wondering what additional functionality this wallet may contain in the future, reading the Terms Of Service and Privacy Policy might help!

minor quibble:  In the privacy policy "request, facilitate" appears to be lacking a space.

Good catch, I'll fix it shortly:)

fluffypony, i'm sure you've already realized that a natural complement to mymonero is a smartphone app connected to the web wallet that makes really easy receiving and sending payments through the qr code, didn't you?

Baby steps:)
yay!!! i knew that it would come Smiley
i've a project on my mind that will use monero as currency but needs localization...
i'll offer translations to spanish...
thank you again to you and to all monero devs and supporters!

wow!! this is really something, kudos to the core team and to XMR and the community a great year ahead!

Money often costs too much.
Did I missed the feedback on "this works on default android tablet version x.y" or "ipad release z" or "cellphone type q"?
In a way a webwallet is the catch-all. You only need those two: easy one, and full set.

Can someone help me with the wallet I am stuck on 208393...just tried downloading newest version still stuck on it

As far as I know they might be loading the same block chain from my roaming folder...

I think maybe you got on the wrong fork with an old version, and then updated. Not 100% sure, but I think you might want to just wipe everything in your data directory, and then download the latest bootstrap blockchain and put it in there.

So just delete the stuff in my roaming folder and put the bootstrap in there? yeah i think you're right about the forking thing

Yea, if you use default directory it's C:\Users\youruser\AppData\Roaming\bitmonero; just delete (or move) everything out and replace it with the latest bootstrap, and sync from there.

If you are using the current code for the daemon it won't let you load a blockchain from the wrong fork.

problem?

You have to paste the 12 word seed there - not some random password or whatever u wanted there, its just to make sure that u noted down your electrum style seed.
You get that seed on the beginning of the page, just scroll up Wink

correct screen look like this

i noticed on win8.1/ie11, the 12 13 words seed weren't correctly displayed     [edit] 13 words, not 12

Monero Core Team
sudo apt-get install cmake
You need to install all the dependencies that way. I think you can do something like apt-get install build-essential and get a lot of basic stuff at once.
I suggest you start by installing the "old monero" with Quanttek's install script. It will take care of the foundation
Code:
cd ~ && rm -f install_monero.sh && wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Quanttek/install_monero/master/install_monero.sh && bash install_monero.sh
THEN you follow the instructions on join for testing
