The hashrate is still over 1 GH. Does it really takes so long to show correct hashrate?

720 blocks for full correction. o believe we are at 100-200 blocks in. lazy to check

Thx for the info. We are only at block 1546086. Damn this could take a while.

its worth it. jst throw any hash your willing to spare on it. Important thing is to keep decentralization alive. I do wish monero team will also adjust difficulty some way every code change. 720 is lot of blocks.

Its been discussed and even some initial code offered.

They don't make changes in haste, but it is something they are aware of and want to resolve.

I've had two Ryzen CPU on supportxmr.com since this morning.  Around 800 h/s.  The pool still shows 0.0000000000 due.

I realize I'm not some hashing powerhouse here but shouldn't there be at least some XMR due by now?  Seriously the pool is carrying that figure out to ten decimal places.

SupportXMR is a PPLNS pool, so you only get paid when you find a block (and that block matures, 60 blocks later).

Usually this isn't an issue because the pool finds blocks often and it only takes a couple of hours to mature, but the network is going really slow now because of the sudden drop in network hashrate.

Flippin' burgers since 1163.
I can encourage everyone (solo)mining to support the network till the difficulty adjusts to a level of again having an average of 2 minute blocks.

In the daemon type:
start_mining 44AFFq5kSiGBoZ4NMDwYtN18obc8AemS33DBLWs3H7otXft3XjrpDtQGv7SqSsaBYBb98uNbr2VBBEt 7f2wfn3RVGQBEP3A 4

In case I get very lucky, the getmonero.org development fund address gets credited. The '4' represents the amount of CPU's mining simultaneously, my rusty old laptop has 8 in total.

The Monero Hardfork has finished without serious technical problems on its network.
I have not mined the coin for a long time ago. So anyone help will be highly appreciated.
How about mining profits of Monero after the hardfork?
Is it more profitable for miners than before the Hardfork events?
How many coins one rig which has 6 AMD 470 2 GB graphic cards can get each day?

thanks all for your help

relax network lost a lot of hash and still needs to adjust difficulty. it will likely be more profitable in the days to come

Doomed to see the future and unable to prevent it

tHEY WILL CARE WHEN THEY FIND OUT ALL THE EXCHANGES ARE ON THE NEW CHAIN AND THEIR NEW COINS ARE UNSELLABLE.

goddamn cAPSLOCK!

Easy!

Admit it, you live for these posts!!!

Here an ETH miner helping Monero network. My 470/480 rigs mining XMR till 720 blocks.

Regards.

Thank's buddy! That is much appreciated.

I pulled out an old poweredge 2950 and said shit 200H/s nah. The friggin thing is like a hurricane. Seriously I think it's over 80 decibels! Smiley

threw some of my hashes as well. this might actually take more than 24 hrs to normalize. 24hrs was estimate for normal block generation which is 2mins if im not wrong. its taking way more than that. It will pick up pace slowly. We might be looking at 2-3 days before were up to speed and true hash rate is determined.

Slow block propagation means there is a significant hash rate lost for now. Neither pool nor the blockchain actually knows how much hashrate is being thrown at it. Pool estimates based on how many shares you submit per time frame and blockchain.
