It's neither misunderstood nor underestimated. At least not by the people we're referring to. The only reason they mentioned Monero at all is because their intentions would be (more) obvious if they didn't. So they mumble it under their breath between other projects and quickly move on.

Mumble is right, I had to listen to it twice before it heard Monero.

Charts showing the hypothetical future peaks we could see and where on the Fibonacci retracement that puts us now. Essentially a forward looking type of Fibonacci analysis where you consider where we are sitting now vs a near term hypothetical peak. There would be only 5 to 7 possibilities for a present price point.

I think you are looking for Fibonacci extensions?
