I've been watching it for what 7 years? And I can still not quite figure out what it's gonna do.

PS. Febo: The WHM stuff is SUPER compelling. I have always seen it is a mixed blessing.

There are only three crypto assets that are REALLY REALLY being used.

1. Bitcoin.
2. Eth.
3. Monero.

The rest is all BS. And ETH is really being used as a convoluted lottery ticket/toll. Not that that is not a use case. Just that it's an annoying one. Dark market usage is the ACID TEST for privacy. And also a good enough reason for the state to try to crack down. Mixed blessing...

Why did you set your target so high on Monero for this year? if only one person uses the Monero system, then achieving a very high price will be very difficult to happen because this is not only about one person's preferences, but for many people.

Simple question...

The lightning network is capable of enabling atomic exchange between different blockchains. But the ability is still mostly theoretical, as it has not been developed out much.

However BTC<->XMR cross chain atomic swaps is already built, and even beginning to work.

Why did that development come first?

Hint: The answer is even simpler than the question.

There is nothing wrong with the opinion that even if what you say will not happen in December this year, because everyone who makes price predictions on a coin also misses a lot, although not by far.

My speculation about this coin i think Monero will go up to $300 before the end of this week and after that there will be some correction then go back into below $250. For the long term i think monero can reach hes new all time high in december but it just my own opinion about this coin.

I think that's a good sign and we can see how bitcoin is able to influence the prices of altcoins and especially monero which is currently up around 4.8% in the market and hopefully will continue to increase.

I’m sorry to break your bubble but it all depends only on what BTC is going to do. And it’s not just XMR, it all the altcoins. And XMR follows BTC at a slightly slower pace since XMR/BTC’s peak in 2017. So if XMR goes to 5k, BTC has to go more than 600k unless XMR picks up some pace.

Agree. I think the log view is correct for several reasons. First of all that will be an economic signature for all crypto in the history books. Also moves in XMR are always magnified because it is locked to BTC.

With BTC @ 250k, we don't even need XMR to 2x twice against BTC. 0.02 will be enough to get us to 5k.

A 20x in USD is a big gain in ANY alt. Especially class of 2014 level alts. But we all know why Monero is not exactly "any" alt.

I tend to prefer logarithmic when dealing with crypto currencies. I watch XMR / BTC which has been very bearish, but has found support at 0.004, the old 2015 - 2016 double top. A breakout from the cup and handle on XMR / USD which is also confirmed on XMR / BTC could see XMR reach 5000 USD, especially if there is a breakout on XMR / BTC over 0.036 BTC

But the feds def know it’s going to be the biggest threat in a couple years. Privacy, home CPU mining, a vibrant community and the best developers... That’s a deadly combo.

The volume is following it's normal weekly pattern, but has rocketed up to 2x what it was for a couple months (!) and in the midst of all time volume highs.

I don't see why fluffy pony's news that is even unrelated to crypto as far as I know should have any impact on Monero. I'm of the opinion TPTB thought they would get a nice dump on fluffy news and once they didn't it struck them that this is the floor, there are no weak hands left and all their fractional reserve dumping is about to come home to reap their ass.
